Easy to use
Purchased as a Christmas present for my wife crack English walnuts. She loves it. Her arthritis is no longer a barrier to her enjoying her snacks.

A GOOD BUY
The screws on the base can’t stay on the because of the constant movement by pressing on the nuts but overall it’s a Good but for me specially when the wooden base picks up a lot of the debris

Pecan cracker
I was very pleased with this, cracked pecans as well as taking them to feed store to be cracked with machine. One small drawback was adjusting threaded part for each size pecan.

Ease of use
We have two pecan trees and have buckets of pecans to crack. This has been a hand saver! Works quickly and come out 2 perfect halves nearly every time. We've gotten a second one as gift for elderly neighbor to use with her pecans. Ease of use a 5 star for sure!

Not that effective
More difficult to crack pecans than the old ones

Box is balsa wood and too cheap to support much prolonged pressure. Also box arrived broken.
Mechanism works very well. However after about 1/2 hour the mechanism pulled right out of the box. Screws too short, wood too soft. I used 600 glue and securely glued everything together. I think it will work quite well now. Be careful how much pressure you apply however.
