These MR16 bulbs are fine - but they don't seem to work as replacement bulbs on systems with older 12V transformers. After a few moments, they started to flash violently - very unpleasant. However, an earlier review suggested leaving one of the original incandescent bulbs in place and replacing the remaining bulbs with the new ones. I have 4 bulbs in the unit, so just replaced three of them, and to my surprise, this worked!There is a small difference in appearance as the old bulb looks slightly pink, but overall it works and reduces the power consumption from 80W to 32W - just about worth it!

I found that 50W equivalent bulbs flickered constantly with the transformers in my light fittings. A bit of research revealed that I need lower wattage bulbs so I went for these 20W equivalents. These are flicker-free but a bit dim.The problem I have is that although the 12 kitchen spotlight fittings are outwardly identical there are in fact some manufacturing differences and in some of them these bulbous shaped LED bulbs won't push back far enough into the fitting to allow the retaining spring clip to slot into place. Best bet is to go for LED replacements that are the same shape as the Halogen bulbs.

Worked fine no flickering despite the fact that I seem to have an old system to provide the 12 volt supply for lights. My only problem was the pack size. I wanted five lights which meant that I would have had to buy eight bulbs leaving three spare bulbs which is a bit rediculous. Had there been a three pack I would have bought two packs and been happy to have one spare bulb. It would be nice to have a choice of pack size.

These give an excellent light output and were delivered ahead of schedule.Buyers must be aware though, they are NOT quite the same size as my existing halagen MR16 bulbs.The body is about 6mm longer and in one of my uses, was not a good fit in an imitation stone garden light.

The bulbs give a good light but they are slightly larger than usual. Fortunately I can fit them into my ceiling fittings as the extra depth disappears into the ceiling cavity.

I fitted these as replacement for 20 watt Halogen lamps they are as bright if not a little brighter also they work just fine with the original transformer, I left them on for a reasonable time and there was no flashing. The colour warm white as a slight yellow tint but we found that better than the harsh bright white light, we are very pleased with them.

Double check dimensions!! Bulbs they're good. They're definitely on the warm side of white. They're longer mm than previous MR16s I've had. So they stick out about 5mm. Check your sizes

Only installed today so can't say anything about longevity.But I will say I have had problems swapping to leds in my bathroom. The lighting circuit has small 12v transformers at every light and most leds bulbs flicker. These are flicker free and a good colour temperature
