A must have to quickly empty tanks.
An absolute must have item for any tank owner!I had bought the biOrb 15L tank, not realising how small the opening was on top of the tank; using a glass to empty the water was mind-numbing and time consuming...Enter the siphon! Such a bargain price, and it has made cleaning the tank so much easier. I can't say it has been of any use cleaning the gravel, as my tank holds the biOrb ceramic media, but it removes the water very quickly which is what I really needed it for.The length of the tube allows me to stretch from the tank to the sink with ease; and would be fine if used with a larger tank emptied to a bucket.I have noticed a tiny fish get caught up in the water flow, so be wary if you do have any tiddlers in the tank, but quick reflexes meant the fish came to no harm and simply swam back in the tank.I absolutely recommend this siphon!

Right next door to useless.
In all honesty I didn't expect much from this given the price but I didn't get to finish using it the first time. The pump was actually delivered well before the stated ETA and was in perfect condition on arrival. It was supplied in simple plastic wrapping with no instructions but to me it's operation seemed obvious. On first use I encountered a useless pump and what could be considered either a major design flaw or a limitation of the design that I didn't notice. Either way within minutes the pump became unusable. The pump itself (the blue bit) which you have to rhythmically squeeze to achieve suction was fairly annoying in it's own right. You squeeze, providing some suction, then when you relax to squeeze again the small amount of water you managed to get up the tube goes back down. No matter how fast you try and pump you just cannot raise enough water to create a constant flow. Even by keeping everything below the height of the tank to assist with a header effect. I finally gave up and use the manual siphoning method (I sucked). Now to the design flaw I mentioned. Once the water was finally flowing I use the funnel end to try and clean the gravel at the bottom of my tank. As it happens the filter grid in the end of the funnel was allowing my gravel to pass into the tube. It would get as far as the pump and get stuck so I ended up with a pump full of gravel you can't get out without breaking open the thing. In summary, the old adage you get what you pay for rings true here, it's worth spending a bit more for a pump that actually works. Thanks for reading and please use the customer question and answer function if you need any more information and I’ll try my best to help.

Excellent price
Took a while to arrive, but works well. A must have for any fishtank. Good length but the end that goes into the tank is much shorter than the picture, just means it takes a little longer to get it started, for the price however this was a bargain.

Was ok
Took a while to arrive but within the stated times so not a problem. It was quite a large bore so took the water out at a rapid rate. I would have to say you cannot argue with the price but it's not the most robust plastic so it probably wouldn't last long with some abuse though! Sadly it's now in the bin, only because in a densely planted tank I sucked up a baby fish and in my panic to free the little soul I took to the tube with a pair of scissors!! Not a fault with the manufacturer of course, but a word of caution, the flow rate is large for a smaller tank so don't be an idiot like me and use it in a 'blind spot' or your slower little ones won't stand a chance! 4 stars only because it will do the job if you respect the thin plastic but for the price, well it's cheap and cheerful and works!

Works like a dream!
I had read a number of negative reviews for similar products but I was surprised and delighted by how well this one worked. It sucked up lots of the gravel which might sound like a disadvantage but having put far too much in the tank, this is saving me so much time. It works incredibly quickly with just two or three squeezes on the blue bit. I was taken aback by how well it worked! The price is fantastic for a product that works so well. My fishes were very curious when I first put it in the tank and they're looking very happy in their nice clean tank so I imagine they'd give positive feedback too if they could!

Easy to use and does the job.
Really useful siphon. I bought it to replace another I had and I'm really impressed. My previous one was very difficult to get going, you had to work quite hard to get the water flowing. With this one, just a few squeezes of the pump gets the siphon going and you get just the right level of suction power for cleaning the gravel. My only quibble would be the head is quite large which makes cleaning around plants a bit tricky, but then I have a very small tank so I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem for most people.

Avoid Avoid Avoid
I ordered this ad I've just finished cycling my new fish tank and thought it make water changes and top ups much easier now I've added my first few fish.I struggle to put into words how unbelievably disappoint I am with this product. I really is poor, poor quality.Firstly, my item arrived late which is not at all acceptable when promised a certain delivery date.Once I unpackaged my product, I was disappointed to find the state it was in. The plastic tubing looked like it had been stretched, un stretched and bent several times - it was still useable however so I decided I'd try it out when I wanted to change water from my tank. The disappointment only continued however 2 once in use I found that the product was extremely hard to use. To thy water flowing I Maurice squeezed the blue bit 100 times - in the process I managed to get the worst cramp I've ever had and continie to have a day later.Due to the lateness, poor quality and the fact that this product caused me an injury, I give it 1 star. This was whoever very cheap! I guess I got what I paid for.

Prodotto utile ma non funzionante
Prodotto teoricamente molto utile. Peccato che non funzioni sempre come dovrebbe. Forse ho ricevuto un oggetto fallato.

Looks are deceiving
I had this pump for a while sitting around. I finally used it today for a water change. It looks a little flimsy but I was impressed! It took little effort to get pump started as opposed to my big original gravel cleaner. Good suction for a cheaper pump! I'll probably buy a couple more of these. Worth it

Correct
Pour le prix je dirai que cet accessoire est correct mais s'il y a quelque chose à redire alors le système de filtration est quasi inefficace.
