Hello, There is so much positive things to say about OPT7 LED kits. I will try to keep this short. I have installed OPT7 LED kits in almost every motorcycle I have owned and many friends motorcycle also. Their products are second to none. The quality of their parts are top notch. And the versatility makes everything so easy from installation to operation. Hands down the best kits out there. But even more than the quality of their product, their customer service is bar none, the best. Anything you need they are always willing to help. I have reached out to them for installation ideas, and they had no problem helping guide me through what I was looking to accomplish. Out of all the years I have been using them, I had one issue, they promptly handled the situation and sent me everything I needed to resolve it at no additional cost.Highly recommend OPT7.

I installed them on my bike and they were good I was happy with them until I realized that the module draws too much power. So my brake light has some residual current and it stays dimly lit even when the bike and the lights are off. My brother also bought the same light and it actually drew too much power that it triggered to think it was always breaking. Tested for voltage and made sure it was the correct wire. Still the same issue. Mine isn’t too bad so I will add a on off switch but I have to unplug the module so my battery doesn’t run out of charge. Over all it’s not a bad lighting system for the price. But be aware maybe test it before installing it. And check your brake light when your bike is off.I like how the bike looks. And the features of these lights.Other thing was the remote control is easy to understand. The tape seems really good, haven’t had issues with it. I had enough wire to run all the lights to where I wanted it to run.

Doesn’t matter what bike you got putting this on sucks a lot. I can say the strength of that 3M tape is wonderful but just remember since there’s not enough slack and you use heat wrap tubing to protect the connectors it’s impossible to remove your fairings.I bought this in 2021 and it lasted to about a few months ago. I was riding and it was blue I have the brake light system configured. Went to brake, lights changed to red and it just shut off on its own.Fuse is fine, connectors to main power hub are fine, not sure and quite disappointing because now I’m going to have to remove it all and do this again.

Awesome product. I posted pictures because I believe pictures are sometimes better than words. The only one thing I can say as constructive criticism is they advertise as "10 straps is all you need" and that might be true for most people but if you really want your bike bright, I recommend to sets. I bought two and I love it!

The lights work good. Plenty of wire to run through both of the sides of my r6. One the LED lights came with bad connections. As shown it was lighting up two colors and when moved it turned off any other light after it since I connected them in series. I usually don’t write reviews but the customer service was very lengthy. Personally I don’t mind calling and just explaining my situation and having had to go through a million emails was unpleasant. After all I did get my led strip shipped.The product braking lights function doesnt work since the kill switch doesn’t trully kill them. It lets just enough voltage out to let the brake light remain on, even after turn the motorcycle off. I tried discussing this with the company and instead of helping troubleshoot they just wanted me to remove everything and get a new package. They had already sent me a new switch and a new control box, the issue never got fixed soo… I started doing research and its based on the type of switch they use. Either they need to change the type of switch or install a relay of some sort to be able to stop the voltage leak. Otherwise their “cool” brake light function is useless because all its going to do is drain batteries. I tried explaining that to them but seems like I’m talking to a wall. Keeping the product just because I took my sweet time to install it and I don’t want to have to take them off, But I’m never buying from them again. I’m an engineer who works with a licensed electrical P.E. (Professional Engineer). We told them how to fix it and instead of collaborating they just want me to take off everything and resend me the same product. They don’t understand that it won’t do anything…. 🤦🏻‍♂️
