⭐ Enterprise Power at a Consumer Price — EAP635 Delivers Big
After wrestling with the limitations of the EAP610, switching to the TP-Link EAP635 felt like stepping into another league. I installed two units—one on each level of a 2,000 sqft home—and the coverage has been absolutely flawless. For a device in this price range, it packs a serious punch with enterprise-grade features, seamless integration into the Omada ecosystem, and blazing-fast Wi-Fi 6 performance.Setup was straightforward, and both access points have been rock solid from day one. No drops, no quirks—just fast, stable connectivity across all clients, including smart home devices, streaming setups, and remote work demands. If you're looking for premium performance without the premium price tag, the EAP635 is a standout choice. Reliable, feature-rich, and clearly built to last.

Exactly what we needed!
This works GREAT! Extends our Starlink from our house out to our shop with no issues on connectivity. Love that it doesn’t need a power source. Super easy to set up

Dissapointing speeds
initially I expected to return this as it showed now link lights or any power on status. I did a reset and was able to see a broadcast SSID. I have connected this with two 12in cat 6 cables. Range was exceptional but even with my sequential gigabit connection I only see 30 megabits per second. I swapped the cables for 2 known good cat5e cables, and the same speeds. I then pulled out a box of cables and began swapping them around. I tried different switches, I tried connecting directly to my router. I even tried pulling files locally from my NAS. Nothing is able to get much above 30 Mbps at about 15-20 feet, line-of-sight.Even pulling a file directly from my NAS peaked at about 3.5 MBps.My phone is even worse.. 10Mpbs, again standing arms reach from the device.I truly have no clue what the use case for this would be with these speeds. even for the sub $50 price point I find this ridiculous. Moving out of line of sight at about 10 yards renders this AP to nothing more than 'connected'I bought this for a small business to extended their WiFi coverage to a small garage some 30 yards away so their techs would be able to use a PC for emails and general web browsing. After the distance tests at my shop I was pricing out the cost to build my personal network around this line of products, then I began speed testing and confirming function and am almost embarrassed to deploy this for a customer

Works well, love the vlan aware devices.
TP-link AP's are the sweet spot for me, vlan aware and easy setup. I'm using them in standalone mode without controller. This is the 3rd TP-link AP we've purchased expanding our home coverage.

Good coverage
This provides a good, longrange WiFi signal from your router. I have mine installed outside my home and I can get a good signal from 300’ away.

Great outdoor connection antenna
I set up an outdoor camera system, and I needed a link for outside to all the outdoor cameras and these work very well so great for outdoor use and full Wi-Fi and your own yard for you and your family and security cameras to protect your family on your house Man

WARNING this is IMPORTANT
This is no good, it is not about TP-Link but maybe it is. I own and have owned several TP-Link routers, switches, and wifi extensions or repeaters that I am very happy with. Now for the TP-Link Omada, so far it is NOT working. It is mounted on the roof, and i am 89 years old and not going up there. It is putting out a signal and I can connect to it, but that is all. I can not get the Omada app to work, can not get through the sign-in, more later. The TP-Link tether can not find the Omada, and when I attempt to login with the SSID or IP I get nothing, still working on this. Now the really BAD stuff: When attempting to create an Omada account, (won't let you past creation), they want verification with a credit card, $0 will not be charged. I am the suspicious type so I use a debit Master Card with less than $100 in the account. "Sorry we do not accept that card" Not to be undaunted I try another card with the same results. I'm tired of this and it's dinner time so I give up for the day. Next morning a text from the bank, "G*BMOE* DAOZANT $34.90 Did you make this purchase with your Debit card end........". I never use this card so Hell No!" This is not a consistence I use an iPhone with full security. People be Care-full. Happy Shopping Craig.
