Worked on the very first start!
Fit like a glove. That gasket is a pain to work in there at the same time if you're rushing like I was, but it worked perfectly. I had no warning at all on my 06 Honda Ridgeline. One day it just wouldn't start, though it was the battery or some fuse or relay, surely it couldn't be the starter?! But that was my next guess (yes, guess!) and thank goodness it worked out. Started instantly on the first try. Truck starts a lot faster now I've noticed, not as much of a struggle. So far so good, I am thrilled. Solid part, we'll see how it holds up over time :)

Value for money
Worked well once installed. Installation on Honda Ridgeline was fairly easy after watching videos online. So far, no complaints. Turns engine over easily for quick starts, especially compared to old tired starter it replaced.

Gear shaft sheared with only 3 months of use. Price was right, but buyer beware.
