Stunning lights and fog, but with a design flaw
Beautiful lights to go with strong fog output. I like the different light options but there are things I'm not so crazy about. The clear dome for the disco type lights on my unit seems permanently fogged. I'm sure it's an easy fix to unscrew a couple of things and wipe it down but I don't want to risk breaking or losing any parts. The included remote control is very handy, but note that once you lose it, you won't be able to control this thing since there's only an on/off switch, but no buttons to control lights or fog output outside of the included remote control.Another thing that bothers me is the hose that goes from the back of the machine and thru a hole in the fog juice reservoir. I can see this as a potential point of failure if the hose gets worn out from the constant rubbing against the reservoir cap.Overall I like this fog machine, I just wish to change a couple of things. It's good at what it does.

Why does this keep breaking
This product was awesome but it has stopped heating very disapointed and this is a replacment that again has not lasted

Turn your party like a club
First let it warm up for a few minutes, then it will put out thick smoke that will easily fill up the entire room. And then you can turn on the different color lights or disco ball effect and you have club like atmosphere. Remote control works great across the room. This little thing can put out lots of smoke very fast. We love it.

500w not 700w, still a great machine overall! Here's what you need to know...
UPDATE 9/13/2022: (-1 star=4 stars) In preparing for Halloween decorating, I decided to put an energy meter in line with this. It draws 489 watts max, and I tried having all of the lights on, max fog, nothing went past 489watts. I am still happy with this, but it does not meet the description and so it looses a star in my book. Bummer! (I am adding more pictures.... very calm night, the fog is impressive! Now to add a chiller :-) )Original review:The description has some things right, I measured about 19 seconds of fog spray, and it stopped for 31 seconds before spraying again. It was very consistent. Pressing button 1 turns the smoke mode on, it will only run the pump (which makes the smoke) when the system is preheated. So you turn it on and it will continue to run when it is hot enough. Press 1 again to stop that cycle, it will continue to heat the barrel as long as the back switch is on.Video - I should have taken the video when it was darker, but we just couldn't wait to try it. It is much more impressive at night and with less of a wind. (I said cool beans at the end, in response to something my son was telling me :-) LOL )I used a water based 'Fog Juice extreme - made in USA' and I am happy, but not thrilled. This is my first fog machine so I don't know what to expect. This is totally an entry level machine, so I think it is doing what it should. From the research I have done, it seems the fluid is the main part in what kind of fog you will get. I did not try an oil based fog liquid yet, I plan to order some and update this review after. The lighting effects are awesome, it has solid red, green, blue, or a color changing RGB mode, strobe light, and the disco ball thing is our favorite. We use the disco with the color changing mode. The remote takes some getting used to, if you push red, you have to press it again to turn off red, its the same for the smoke and the rest of the colors & strobe. The disco ball is the outlier, button 7 turns it on, 8 turns it off.The description says it has a wired remote with a 50 meter range, but they meant wireless, with an old fashioned extendable antenna :-) that does have great range. I didn't measure out 50 of those meter things, but it does reach 50 feet away without issue. The weird part is that you have to push the buttons multiple times sometimes, or maybe a bit harder than you think, and this happens even when I was a couple feet away. I got used to it and had no issues after awhile. Plus you aren't really changing things once you get it setup, so I didn't dock any stars for this.At this price point, and with all of the lighting options, I really think this is a 5 star product, it does what it says! If you need to have the remote work perfectly, or prefer the instructions to be even half way decent, then consider it a strong 4 star product.Hopefully you found my review helpful. :-) I have always relied on the reviewers to make decisions before buying, I feel that is the best part of Amazon! Simple operation
This puts out a good bit of fog but I did run into trouble with the remote not being able to control the machine at times. I could be less than 3' away and it wouldn't work. Aside from the remote issues it's a great machine, definitely more for home parties and events. Used for Halloween and it had amazing results.
