So I bought two with the idea to tie them together to make a winter one as the weighted blanket I had been using for over summer was just too cool for this time of year now. Turns out the glass beads in at least one of them have leaking, and they aren't so much beads as shards, so i've ended up with lots of tiny bits of glass all over my bed and my carpet. Oh, and they are stuck in me in multiple places, which is itchy and painful. Thanks for that

Personally I don’t have any issues sleeping so was out like a light in no time as per usual, and then totally over slept! Was this down to the blanket or coincidence, no idea, I’ll try again tonight.The blanket itself has a lovely soft texture, plus looks very smart, but boy is it heavy, you certainly feel that 9kg, it reminds of when I was kid and we had extra heavy blankets in winter (before duvets became the norm). The stitching etc is excellent and the glass beads distribution is great too, I don’t feel. Any bunching up, it’s very well distributed.Hope my review was helpful

I ordered this for my son who has autism. We had been advised that a weighted blanket may be helpful for him.It arrived neatly packaged in a reusable zip up bag and was in perfect shape.It looks exactly like the advertised photos and I was impressed with the quality. One side had a soft almost velvety feel and the other is more like cotton.It is very heavy (which is to be expected) but we find it extremely comforting and cosy to use.My son uses it when he is relaxing on the sofa, he finds it warm and calming.I actually love how this feels and am considering ordering more as my whole family enjoy using it so much.At around £35, this is in my opinion a fantastic price.

They certainly did not lie when they said it was weighted at 9kg! But it will be great in the cold winter evenings! Either to snuggle on the sofa or as an extra layer on the bed!It soft to touch and looks and feels well made.All in all i am pleased but suprised at the wieght!

I got this for my 16 year old daughter who has autistic tendencies and one of these weighted blankets was recommended to help with her comfort at night. She normally sleeps very badly, waking often, sore legs, nightmares etc so any improvement on any of those would be a bonus...This blanket is heavy so I was worried it would be too much for her but she absolutely loves it! She has slept better for the past 2 nights (not perfect but better) and said the blanket makes her feel safe and comfortable, it is really soft, and she loves the weight of it but can still turn over or throw it off if needed.Added bonus is it looks lovely and neat too :)

I've always wanted a weighted blanket, so when I saw this one and had the chance to experience it I had to grab it.Firstly it's so big! I love big blankets and this is the perfect size.The weight is perfect, I was worried about it being too heavy as I'm not huge but it's perfect for me.I really struggle with nightmares every night. When I started sleeping with this I noticed my sleep quality improved and my nightmares have started to get better, I'm having them less, I'm waking in the night less and I'm sleeping better in general. Definitely recommend.

My wife uses this blanket in her calm down area and the children described it as 'like being hugged'.I think washing it may be very tricky but I would imagine this would be a problem with any weighted blanket that you would purchaseThe glass beads are non toxic and have not yet leaked out at all.It is very heavy but not at all uncomfortable and is very soft.At the reduced price of £35 it is very good value for money.

Had my best night's sleep of the month last night with this blanket on our bed.So warm, so comfortable and so soft. And it didn't move all night!Simply love this, and essential as we battle not to turn the heatng on for as long as possible.Perfect!
