Good sturdy knife. Have only been using for a couple weeks but so far has held up nicely and stayed sharp.

I purchased this knife after much research of others offered here on Amazon as well in my local stores and I sure I am glad I went with this one. I put it thru a full work out today starting with carving up a fresh pineapple and it cut thru that tough skin like it was cutting thru butter. I used very little muscle power compared to what I had to do with my older knifes. I then carved cold ham for ham salad and pea soup!! Chopped veggies for salad and sliced a nice ripe tomato and no matter what I was cutting, I got the same results. Yes - everyone needs this knife in their kitchen. I cannot sharpen this knife and it rusts even when I follow directions regarding maintenance.

This knife is just what I was looking for! It's lightweight but sturdy, and feels perfectly balanced. I have chronic fatigue and stiffness in my hands thanks to some health issues, and some knives are just too heavy for my liking. This one gets the job done easily - it's so sharp that it barely takes any effort to prep my food, and it's versatile enough to use on everything. After conducting exhaustive research, I decided to purchase this knife. I was looking for a classic chef's knife and I could not be more happy with this knife. This is a solid, well constructed, professional knife. Sharp blade and very well constructed handle. When it comes to chopping vegetables and dicing fruit, this knife is unbelievable!!! I underestimated the difference of how a quality knife would perform and am now kicking myself for not getting a knife like this sooner. On a final note, I am happy to support a product that is made in the USA.
