Definitely enemies to lovers. I loved how Theresa became a strong woman and faced her demon cousin. Nikolas may be the Don but what he has in power, he sure gives the same in love. Loved the characters and story. enjoyable read.

This author is new to me. I loved the plot and the new found family they became due to their circumstances.

Fantastic story full of action, emotions and danger with a dash of romance and spice. You want to hug the characters and strangle them in the next moment. You just get immersed into this world each time you get to read one of the author's books. Highly recommended!

This is the first book I've ever read, that has been written by Michelle and if I'm honest, I wish I had come across her books before.As the first book of The Sinners Series, it's an excellent book to have started with and right now, I'm annoyed doing this review, as if rather just get stuck into the next one 😂😂It's a story based around the head of the Greek mafia and his soon to be step-sister. It's also about the love that might blossom, should she ever get over her anxieties and if he can stop threatening her at each meeting!!Tess also has issues with severe anxiety, due to her most formative years being abused. Due to this abuse she suffers with body dysmorphia and a terror of confrontation!!Nikolas is the head of the family and also the head of the mafia. At his first meeting with Tess, two weeks before their parents are to marry, he comes in covered in blood. This instantly puts Tess on edge!!Because of this, when they are finally introduced to each other, although Nikolas is cleaned and wearing a clean shirt, Tess refuses to shake his hand. This of course has Nikolas threatening her about the disrespect she has just shown him!!So begins their relationship filled with animosity, which only gets worse, the more they see each other. Right until it finally comes to a head!! Can they ever work through this?? Well to know you've got to read the book 😋😋Through all of that, they have a war brewing with the Sicilian mafia, as if they don't have enough going on. And then Nikolas arranges the fact that Tess is now to marry on the coming Saturday to his cousin.I mean, just what does he thinks is going to happen?? Men huh?? 🤦🤦On Audible narrating for Tess is Kelsey Navarro and for Nikolas is James Anderson Foster. Neither I've come across before and they do an excellent job.They bring all the characters to life, giving them an endearing quality....yep even Nikolas.As much as Nikolas is a jerk at times, when it comes down to it, he has a good heart and James manages to bring that to the forefront.Anyway I recommend book and audio without any doubt and trust me it will be worth your while. So don't waste time and enjoy 😇😇

Another fabulous book from Michelle Heard. I loved both main characters, the fitted well together. It was just a matter of time before they both realised they were meant to be.

She's of marrying age and if he arranges a marriage for her she'll be out of his hair. He's already made his mind up that she's a spoilt brat.Tess loves her independence, her mother encouraged her. But now that her mother is married, Nikolas has taken over her finances. And has told her he's arranged a marriage for her to his cousin. Her independence and freedom is taken from her. She now has guards. She's seen how women in the mafia world are treated, loveless, unhappy marriages.As he gets to know Tess a little better he battles with these new feelings he's never experienced. Why does he have this reaction towards him?He's also got this war going on with the Sicilians. He needs his family, including Tess, out of harm's way.Will they win the war against the Sicilians?Will Tess gain the strength to stick up for herself and confront her evil cousin?Will they give into their feelings for each other.Such a great fast paced read. Full of angst, drama, suspence, emotional.

What a rollercoaster of emotionsI love a villainous hero that falls obsessively for his woman... This hero is so bad and so good at the same time. It was bittersweet to see the main characters fall in love with each other and embrace their relationshipMy only downside it's that the end felt rushed... Still. Loved the epilogueI look forward to book 2

I could hardly book this book down. I truly loved the growth, love, and strength with this couple. It truly is a great book.

Great story. Actually had tears in my eyes for some momentsThe epilogue at the end brought it all together and loved reading the whole book

First I will say that I kind of hated how he treated her in the beginning and how women seem to have no voice when it comes to marriage in this world of mafia. But the book was also a gem, feeling with her how he changed made me cry really. I think all girls can relate a little to Tess, I could for sure and that really connected me to the book. I just felt like her free spirit could never mingle with the mafia. Her disgust in first few pages kept ringing in my head so I feel like her turning completely into a mafia queen was forced, some people are just not made for that and I felt like she was one of them..The way the author talked about anxiety was really amazing. Being someone that suffers from anxiety myself I could really relate to and be happy that people can get to understand a little bit better how we fill when reading this book. Also her mom was a total wimp.

Por favor evítense la pena … llegue al 16 % y tuve que dejarlo… no se trata de nada más que de un tipo que se cree todo poderoso y una tonta que lo deja hacer y deshacer.Imagínense , están en la boda de ambos padres (el padre de el se casa con la madre de ella) y el tipo ya se ha parado tres veces de la mesa para amenazarla mientras frota sus partes con las de ella … espantoso!!! Cero coherente.Creo que es la primera vez que detesto tanto un libro en tan pocas páginas

Wonderful plot with suspense, angst, witty retorts, steamy romance and above all danger and family loyalty.I liked the way the characters were built and the culmination of the plot.Eagerly waiting for next in series..,😍😍😍
