I bought this to put behind the front panel of my pc as a dust filter. It had great air flow but let a little too much dust through, so I'm going to try the 60 mesh next. I have it 5 stars because the quality and packaging was good, it just didn't quite work as i wanted it to for my use.

This was perfect for my needs. I have an old spring form pan that's 10 inches and I wanted to turn it into a tamis with #40 mesh. I was able to cut this wire easily and attach it to the pan with a hose clamp. Total cost of the tamis was $15.00 and I have enough wire mesh left over that I can make a second one.

I am working on a diorama and I needed some screen material to be able to see through to show the details inside the structures I've made. While this isn't to the scale I'm building in I think I will use this for now.I was able to mark cut lines with a sharpie and then cut out the pieces I needed. The wire is very sharp and will have bits sticking out if you aren't careful with your cuts. I'm gluing the pieces on so I can cover the sharp edges, mostly, there are areas where I won't have a border around the screen because it wasn't put on the same way in all the buildings.I did some flattening of the material so I could cut it easier. When I got the piece rough cut I bent it pretty much flat so it would be easier to fit into place.I'd recommend this if you are a model builder even though the scale is correct, I'm building in 1/35th scale and this is a little large for it. I may try a different sized mess the next time I need it.

Great mesh, easy to cut, works really well as filter material

Good for filtering shingle stones out of water. Window screening only filtered the larger shingle stones, so I tried some different meshes, and this is a good mesh aperture. In my project, I have a big plastic pan holding the entire rectangle of this mesh below the downspout. The bigger area of mesh allows high volumes of downflow, like during a torrential downpour, to pass through. I suspect that a downspout-sized piece of mesh would not be able to handle a downpour, and the water might back up and/or push your mesh away.

I use this mesh for making sucrose pail feeders for my apiary, works great!
