I’ve bought two Godox products having never heard of them before. Both have been exceptional quality and value for money. This is so versatile, as to be useable in all situations I think. The quality of everything provided is, in my mind, staggering. I bought it to provide a better light for portraits. I really like the way it can be flexed in to new shapes to create different light distribution. Brilliant.

It’s amazing, easy to use, very good performance and it fits on different types of lightings. I used it as second light on my mini studio, but works good as one light or main light, depending on what you need it for.

Good, but very heavy on the Godox V1.. it actually broke the hot shoe on the flash mount, so I had to replace it!

Been using this flash diffuser for close range photography, including macro. Usually for daylight counterflash technique. Most effective under 12 feet, gives good diffuse light on a godox v880. Gets right light in front of the lens. A little heavy for the ratchet adjustment on some flashes, but an affordable alternative to macro flash if you have an existing top mounted flash. See photos.

This diffuser works really well great for portraits easy to fit on a standard flash very light and folds down quite small to fit in a rucksack or camera bag

Small light and useful

I own and have used Magmod modifiers over the years. But the quality of light diffusion of this, is the equal or not better at half the price.

This is a well made item, although the bracket for the V1/AD100 round heads is slightly awkward to attach rapidly. Sometime on a shoot you are in different locations and a bounce flash preferable. A quick change by removing the diffuser head is easier with MagSphere. Purchased this as was getting annoyed with the bulky maggrip fittings and fact they are over priced. This is great value and will use for awhile longer to see if prefer images/shooting experience over time. The smaller AK-R22 would probably be a better option but unfortunately has a magenta colour cast added to silicon which is too strong. Be nice if they added another neutral option of the AK-R22 like this version. This is still a good omnidirectional diffuser, but may probably better using off camera with size of it. Time will tell if we keep this on camera!
