Keypad was easy to install and configure. Had to install another wireless access point closer to the door due to the keypad having trouble connecting to the wireless network. Not sure if it was the keypad or a few external factors but got it working. The smart life app is a bit difficult to navigate, still trying to accomplish a couple of the advertised functions but the core functionality is working.

I purchased this tentatively due to the price, but I figured I would test it before I installed it and return it if it didn't work. I am a professional access control installer in Tennessee and I'm always looking for new items, especially if I can keep the customer cost down. I wired up the keypad on my work station and set up the app. It worked great while I was sitting at my station. I got out of wifi range to test remote access on wifi. It allowed me to add a card remotely, but not delete card. The app said keypad was offline. I came back inside to see what was going on. I couldn't reconnect lock to app. The keypad buttons were now unresponsive and the keypad was extremely hot. I disconnected the keypad, let it cool down and packaged it back up. If I had installed this at a customer's house and left, I feel it would have caught fire and burned the house down. Do not buy this item!

Looks and works great. Programing it isn't very simple., but not that hard either, you just have to have the manual in front of you and follow the instructions exactly. The app is pretty useless as well. It would be nice if this had a useful app to program the keypad with.I'm using this at my home for a garage door opener, I needed to use an external relay outside of the power supply to interface to the door opener. I know it isn't designed for this purpose, but it works great and looks a lot better than regular garage door opening keypads.

I’ve installed several of these pads and so far all have worked great. The fob feature makes entry smooth and fast. Programming is easy too.

Impossible to use. Had 12 Random wires. Instructions were bad

Pros: Straight forward to install. I used a generic 12V power supply, an inside switch, and a magnetic lock on a sliding glass door. Keypad works reliably to open the lock. Was able to add to Tuya Smart app, if only to operate the lock.Cons: After several emails back and forth with the manufacturer I am not able to use this keypad in any Tuya Smart app scenes. Although it appears in the list of devices that can be monitored for status changes, and although there are four events listed (3 in Chinese characters), they are undocumented and don't appear to do anything. I had to add separate door sensor hardware and add those to the Tuya Smart app to be able trigger scenes based on unlock (actually door open, not unlock)

Keypad kept droping wifi. Would just stop responding randomly. Not worth the headache.
