Okuma Avenger ABF Graphite Bait Feeder Spinning Reel

I bought this reel for ice fishing to use in a dead stick. Perfect size reel for ice fishing, very smooth operation and well made. I would recommend this reel for ice fishing to anyone.

i used this reel yesterday, loaded up with 8lb line and fished on a feeder rod, caught plenty of fish (carp) and the bait runner feature was very useful, very smooth with excellent drag. Overall very impressed for the price and will buy another one soon.

These reels are mini baitrunners and work very well ,helped me catch 7 tench on hybrid tactics ,they match 7 ft feeder rods very well .

I'm a Surf and Bank Saltwater Fishing Guide. So my equipment gets used a lot ! I been using Okuma Reels for over 12 years now, with Zero issues. I'm still using those same reels I bought over 12 yrs ago. I now only use Okuma bait feeders on my Saltwater outfits. These reels are solid and very smooth. I have tried some others like Penn, Shimano etc...The Okuma's have out performed and out lasted all of them and they cost about half the price !

We purchased 2 of these as well as two more expensive reels and tested all 4 of them at great length's off the shores of Aruba, these two reels surprisingly didn’t seem to have any limitations and held up to every challenge we put it through unlike the other two reels. They worked out so well that we didn’t do our usual and give them away before flying back home, instead look forward to using them again on our next fishing adventure…the other two reels, well, they got to stay in Aruba!
