Great value and easy to fit.
Very easy to fit. Just be aware the socket will protrude 10mm more than original. Great solution to a single socket.

Does the job.
Great product easy to fit even in a limited space.

Does the job
Does what it is supposed to but quality is a little off as the socket face piece is not quite flush with the back box. Required a little filing to get a smooth mating surface otherwise a quick upgrade.

Makes life easier
Makes changeing to a double socket very easy. 5 star.... Just be prepared to have a connector block and piece of cable ready in case wires in plug need extending.

Good
Was a little tricky at first if you dont know what you are doing but figured it out in the end I think my house beinf built in the 60s made it harder and is probably alot easier in a newer house

Easy to install and works, but the supplied double socket is not a perfect match for the base
So this is a really useful product. If you don't want to chisel out the wall to turn a single socket into a double, this allows you to turn a sunken single socket into a surface mounted double socket with little mess. The process was simple:- turn off the electrics at the fuse box for the sockets- unscrew the old socket screws- disconnect the N, L and Earth from the single socket- use the old single socket screws to secure the new double box to the old single box in the wall- pull the wires through and connect to the double socket- secure the double socket with screws providedIt was simple and easy. As I mentioned, the double socket had more rounded corners than the box that was attached to the wall. There is no functional difference and it is hardly noticeable, but it to the careful eye, it is there.

Does the job but one issue to be aware of
This is easy to install, however the screws to attach the face plate are very short and on mine couldn’t hold it securely, I had longer screws at hand so used them instead. I’m not the first to point this out in reviews so suspect it’s a design oversight.
