It's great functionality, it's has the perfect brightness, the color fitted the space it was in, very light and it helped me keep time easily.Love it

EDIT: It has been explained to me that the backup function works differently than I thought. It's not responsible for displaying time during power outage, but ONLY to internally keep track of the time for when power returns. I've updated my rating.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Battery backup does not work on my unit. Seller not responding to feedback. The other basic clock functions work when it's plugged in but did not test it for long once I found out about the battery backup. Installed fresh tested (9.12v) 9v battery. Plugged into wall out and set time. Then unplugged from outlet to simulate power outage. Clock goes dead, no display.
