Great starter microscope for kids
Is this a professional microscope? Absolutely not. Is it a great microscope for a kid to learn and explore with? Definitely. I got this for my daughter’s 7th birthday, along with a bunch of other prepared slides to practice with. It’s been a huge hit. Sturdy, but lightweight, and easy for small hands to manipulate.If you have a curious kid, this is a fantastic microscope, highly recommended.

Littles approved
The little who received this still uses it 6 months later. I call that a win. And learning can be fun, with a little help. Highly recommend this.

Returned - Poor Quality
The microscope would likely be great for a young child who wants to play and pretend they're a scientist. This toy is not sturdy. It does not function at the magnification levels described. While the LED is bright and should light up the slides, the clarity and lack of true magnification leave a LOT to be desired. It has the same footprint and size of most youth microscopes, but this just didn't work for anything practical. Spend a little more and get something of higher quality.
