They worked fine for a year.

I used these headlamps on a Suzuki suv. They worked fine for a year. My vehicle lamps come on with engine so the lamps go through life quickly. They were ok but didn't make a year and half.

So far so good. . . two considerations that you'll need to think about. . . .

I bought these to replace a burned out headlight on a Toyota Sienna. They're brighter (or brighter color) than the existing lights I have.Consideration No. 01 -- The Sienna has a rubber gasket that fits over where the bulb sits into light socket. The way the kit works, it'll sit into the socket; secured by a wire clip. But the large rubber gasket will not longer fit because of the aluminum fan housing. It's okay, since the unit will work in 'water' (see video). The power connection (old bulb plug (male) and socket (female)) used to be protected from water by the rubber gasket. But now it's just a plug and socket that's exposed. I've used heavy duty waterproof electrical tap to protect the connection as a caution. (It'll look kinda sloppy. . . but it'll work). But that's a hidden cost.Consideration No. 02 - The light flickers! It's a fast flicker. I contacted customer service about it; they inquired about my car (the Toyota Sienna). They've advised me that it's an electrical thing and I have to purchase a specialized resister to add onto the lights. This is their response. . . " Thanks for your information. Given your description, your car needs 9003 resistors to work with all the aftermarket headlights, something like below:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CTIDE76This should help your car to work with LED, please advise if the issue insist, thanks. The resisters costs $14.00 (not including tax) to purchase. So, it's not as simple as that.Other Comments:Overall, the product is very Bright. (hence the so far so good). But it'll make you remove the rubber gasket that protected the electrical connection; so there's a work around to fix if you know how to do it. And it's just caution. Sure, the device works underwater; but you don't want a short where the power connection. And the flickering is annoying and I'm sure that it'll get worse over time. Given that, the total costs of this light bulb change is $45; plus the costs of the 'resisters' (which I haven't purchased yet). I'm going to give this some consideration.

Design flaw. H4 Light dispersion on low beam not cool.

These lights were SUPER easy to install, and incredibly bright. However, the light dispersion is way off, and there is very little difference between high and low beam. It's always just SUPER bright. I tried rotating the bulb as suggested, but that reversed the function, causing the low beam to only come on when I activated high beam.My rig uses the H4. The low beam operates the two top, and high activates the bottom one, making a total of three come on. The two on the top are angled, causing the low beam LEDs to actually be hitting the high beam reflectors, making them appear as high beam.In looking into this product further, it seems they acknowledge this issue, and say folks like it because they use low beam more. I'm not one of those people and I think this is a poor cover up for a design flaw. I've attached a snip of what they say. They explain the issue very well. I HATE low beam blinders. I've had them before and folks are continually flashing me when I'm on low beam. Totally defeats the purpose of avoiding road hazards if you and the oncoming rig are having an unintentional light bright battle.I could tear them apart and make changes as needed to make them work correctly, but I'm like dude, I just bought these are there are other options.

Very bright, other drivers will think you have high beams on

These lights work as expected, though they are very bright - so bright other drivers flash at me often like i have my high beams on. Annoying. Flashing them back disavows that notion.I've had these for about 18 months and they are still going strong. The only issue I've had is one of the fans stopped working, causing that light to overheat. When it overheats it shuts off, then comes back on when it cools down. I noticed the fan had stopped working on that light. The good news is the tech in the light does function as it should - it is supposed to cut the light if it overheats. The better news is that it was just a small piece of filth causing the fan blades not to move. A quick cleaning and the fan was back humming along. Has only happened once in 18 months and I'm no longer blinking at other people.

Make sure to modify housing cap

My review is on the h4 9003 led bulbs for my 2007 Hyundai Tucson. I received them in the mail this evening and it took me precisely 22 minutes to do a complete install. This time also included modifying the light cap to complete install. My initial impression is they look amazing and saw the huge difference when I replaced one at first and turned the lights on. My full thoughts is to not follow the instruction booklet that states for h4 to remove the socket, mount socket, then insert bulb. This seems to be an unnecessary step and the socket twists and pulls out of place and if you have a tight fit in your housing as I did, it won’t make any difference what so ever. Just place it in, use your metal clip and plug it in. The socket even lined up perfectly in the housing just like the one bulb so I didn’t have to focus on having the one lower yellow bulb down and two up on top as per instructions( you’ll see if you purchase) very simple. For the housing cap, I had to drill a hole in the center slightly bigger than 1/2 inch to fit the harness through one at a time, then screw cap on so the bulb is secure and the harness can hang freely without being crammed. I believe the wiring won’t fit in any light housing due to the fact that the wire from the light bulb that connects to your car is roughly 6 inches long and too much to cram back in the housing when you screw your cap back on so just be aware! Waiting for the wife to come home and take a drive to see the difference besides shining it on my garage:)
