Fo-ti Root Extract He Shou Wu 20:1 Cured Powder Concentrate

I started taking a tsp in my coffee with a tbsp of coconut oil about four months ago. The big boost for results in hair color change was when I started taking 1 1\2 tbsp a day of Great Lakes Gelatin company’s Collage Hydrolysate. My hair is more brown than gray now and my immune system improved. I feel it has helped my Fibromyalgia due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

First of all, I have been using other brands of fo-ti extract in capsule form for at least the last 15 years. I started by using the Paradise Herbs brand on a daily basis and then switched to the Swanson’s brand. So, after using it religiously every day all those years, did it keep my hair from graying? Well, the hair on my head above my temples is its natural color. From the temples down, my beard, mustache, those pesky nasal hairs, and some eye brow hairs are completely gray. If fo-ti really works to keep hair from turning gray, then it should keep all hairs from turning gray, not just the ones on the top of my head. There is no way to have done a double-blind study on myself and compare what would have happened if I didn’t take the herb versus taking the herb, but I can definitely say it had no effect on my facial hair.In trying this Cedar Creeks product, I feel no different than when I used the much cheaper Swanson’s brand. Additionally, the Cedar Creeks brand, like many brands of fo-ti sold in powder form, is not a standardized extract. It is a concentrated extract. Big difference. A standardized herbal extract, like the Swanson brand, will clearly state on the label the guaranteed minimum amount of the active ingredient in each serving. A concentrated extract may have no amount or a minimal amount of the active ingredient. There’s no way to know.Overall, I don’t think this product is a bad product. All fo-ti products will increase your testosterone, which is what gives you a boost in vitality, etc. But, I’ll stick to the guaranteed extract capsules versus the powder. They are one third the cost and I know what I’m getting.

I got my product faster than expected after making my order. I have been using it now for almost 3 weeks and I must say that the result am getting is amazing, particularly with my hair color becoming more darker and the few white hairs turning back to its original color black. With regards to energy, I also noticed some improvements with my energy level. Overall, I view this product very favorable and would re-order again because it's working for me.
