My very first use it broke. The threading was not properly secured. Photo attached. The concept of the product is great. Execution, not so much.

The U-shaped part of the tool that is designed to remove bridge pins is weak and flexible and often fails to do the job. I had to pull out my needle nose pliers to get two of the pins out. Why such a harsh one star review? Because the needle nose pliers slipped and pinched my finger causing a blood blister. This is simple technology and should’ve been perfected decades ago. Major fail. Also...The sleeve that fits over your tuners sits on a rotating spindle. This sort of collapsed, some cheap part inside broke. It's a bit hard to describe but now instead of the rotating handle sitting above the tuners of your guitar so you can turn it they are lower and clip the tuning key with every half-turn. Useless.

Handy and less fumbly than it looks. It's nice to have both winder and cutter in the same tool to keep in the case. So far I've only used it to cut classical strings (nylon). Hopefully it'll cut medium steel strings as well; I'll come back and reduce the rating if it doesn't hold up.A nice feature is that the tuning key gripper socket is made to handle both standard and small sized tuning keys. It has sort of a plus-sign shaped socket, with one shorter than the other for those smaller keys that you might find on a ukulele or mandolin.

The media could not be loaded.  My advice would be to make sure to check whether yours spins straight or not, so as not to put unnecessary strain on your tuners or tools. On mine, the metal hex bit is off center from the plastic tuner grip. I spun it fast in the video to better demonstrate what I'm talking about. You can see it wobbling laterally. Now it's up to you as to how you want to treat your own gear, but I personally wouldn't use this at anything above the slowest speed - if at all. ESPECIALLY if I'm working on other people's guitars.

OK, it cuts strings. That's about all it does decently. The biggest problem (and it's not just the one this seller sells, it's all of them that look like this one) is that the string winder portion isn't really captive and pops off while trying to wind or unwind on the tuner knob. You can't really put any pressure on it to try and keep it on, that just pops it off faster. If the locking tabs were longer or had a better bite in the rotating shaft it might work, but short of supergluing this thing together and turning it as an entire unit it's going to do nothing but frustrate you.

Excuse the cars quote. *Ahem*. I guess you're just what I needed.No, but this is perfect. smooth as oiled silk at turning pegs and makes that process simple. No longer will I dread restringing guitars because of the time-consuming peg turning. And the string cutter is perfect and I don't have to worry about slipping a pinky in there or something. I haven't had much use for the peg puller, but who knows when that will be useful down the road?

the tuning winder and bridge pin puller work great. the wire cutters don't even have a sharp edge so they don't cut at all. better off buying 2 cheap tools instead.

This tool does what it was designed to do but with one small weakness. I'm afraid the peg puller will eventually break as it is made out of relatively thin plastic. It works but the teeth bend easily and if you get a stubborn peg, you are going to need something more heavy duty. I'll probably opt for a metal puller specifically for that purpose. As for winding strings and cutting them, this tool works well.
