Little exrta work to keep it mounted
Only reason I marked 4 stars was the mounting foam tape did not hold well I ended up using sheet metal screws and screwing it into the back plate with a super long extension on my screw gun.

Was nerviness about it being so cheap
For a 10th of the price quoted from gas fireplace store that we bought our fireplace from, with some handy work that was easy for me to make it work in a couple of hours after receiving it. And it works fine and was weeks before the store called us back to tell us they could get one with a near $300 price tag. Don't regret it at all with a month of run time on it now.

Great replacement for a fraction of the cost
This made a world of difference in my gas Lennox fireplace as my old one has been broken for awhile. Does not come with wires, but slid right on to my existing hookups without difficulty, after shutting the power down of course ;) quiet motor. Turns on after about 10 minutes - however I think this is highly related to where your thermostat is located, as mine is not in the best spot.
