MoltenSuper Touch Volleyball

Not an actual Molten Super Touch
The ball I received was not an actual Molten Super Touch ball. I’m guessing that’s why it was only $50 as opposed to the $80+ on the Molten site. This ball has cheaply glued on panels, a crappy inner bladder, and is rock hard. And not just “needs to be broken in” hard. Not a quality ball at all. Returning

What’s wrong with this ball?
Is this a knock off or something? I bought this ball for $50. I’m a Volleyball coach for a club team. We use Super Touch for games. This ball is not like the other Molten “super touch” balls we already have. The leather is funky & the ball is rock hard. We’ve tried to break it in and it’s just a dud. When all of the girls are playing, they go through the ball hopper and can single this ball out as the one they do not want to use. I can’t return it and wish I could . It is not the real thing. The real “Super Touch” Molten’s are my favorite balls. Please save your money and buy from a legitimate source. You own a $50 ball that no one will ever use.

This ball is as hard as a rock
Not sure if I just got a dud ball or what. This ball seemingly is the same exact ball used by my daughter’s volleyball club. Not sure why but this ball is so hard that we don’t even use it. I’ve tried deflating it more but it is anything but soft. It does not even feel like the same ball used at her club. I’ve compared everything on the ball to her club volleyball side by side down to every word but can’t find the difference except on how the material of the volleyball feels. It’s almost sad if it’s a replica. Wasted my money on this one. Can’t send it back because I bought it last year to be ready for girls USAV age 13 and up.

All Super Touch Molten volleyballs aren't the same?
We purchased this because it was suppose to be the same ball as her club team uses. The material for this seems a LOT harder than the new ones her team purchased around the same time (although different online store). We checked the recommended lbs. They are both Super Touch Molten so I'm sure why they are different other than color. It does appear to be good quality and we use it so she can practice with a ball similar to what her club team uses.

Hard at first!
I was so excited to get this ball because I had been using a Mikasa outdoor volleyball for a while that was getting too soft and flat for me and too hard when inflated. When I got this, I was disappointed to find that it was so hard that it hurt to play - even for a player of many years! What my friend and I did to "wear it out" is throwing the ball against the floor as hard as we can (this is also used as a warm up for players). It did the trick after a couple of throws and we were able to play like normal.Overall, excellent ball. You just need to wear it out more before it begins to get more comfortable to play!

The best volleyball
As a volleyball player, this is my all time favorite volleyball. I have 3 in fact. Although they are expensive, they are worth the money. They are the official size and weight. Molten Super Touch balls are also very common amongst tournaments, clubs, and schools so it is best if you practice with the real ball. It isn’t the softest, but it has a good feel and its overall a great ball.

A great ball, a longtime standard
My favorite ball, once it's broken in. When new, it's a bit slippery even without sweat, and quite hard. However, it has a good feel and grip once broken in, just like any real leather product, and stays playable even with sweat on it. Definitely great for jump serving, passing, and setting. I like the Pro Touch too, but for overall playing, I feel this ball is better since it tends to keep rallies going and has a little more give.

Very expensive ball, and worn out very quickly (4 months of use, 2 times a week), finally pierced by a clipboard pin that was in the gym...(total bad luck lol)
