The title is a little misleading. I bought this as recommended by my AA sponsor. It helped my quilt one bad habit, but now I have another. At least I can go out in public and be not be shamed for this one. (Hiccup)

Thanks for this book. It has enlarged my creative thinking.Well written. Love the variations. I use my accuquilt go to cut my drunkards paths. I want to string piece the center . You have me thinking outside the box.

As promised in the title, the author takes an old-fashioned block and puts a fresh, new spin on it. Choice of colors and fabrics allow a quilter like me to make a traditional project, or turn it into something more modern. The instructions are broken down into manageable parts with lots of helpful color pictures to guide you. I've already started one of the patterns and am having so much fun, I'm already planning my next!
