NovoflexAdapter Compatible with L-Mount Camera Body to Leica M Lenses (LET/LEM)

This adapter works exactly as I hoped it would. Mounting the adapter to the camera is a breeze...just line up the red dot with the camera's mounting dot and turn the adapter. Mounting the lens operates in the same fashion...just line up the dots and twist the lens.Dismounting is just as simple...you press the little chrome button on the adapter and turn the lens the opposite direction as you would when you mount it. The Leica lenses I have used with the adapter on the Sony A7s and A7ii have easily mounted and dismounted without any issues. The lenses have not gotten stuck, nor has it required any more than normal effort to turn and mount/dismount them.The adapter comes in a translucent plastic case, and a front-end cap to help protect the contact points.I have no complaints with this adapter whatsoever. I'd be very comfortable recommending it to anyone wishing to use their Leica lenses with the Sony cameras this adapter fits.

Works great for non-ROM lenses. Good build quality, thought attachment is fairly tight to the Leica SL body. It’s a tighter fit than the Novaflex R adapter.

I have a few adapters for my A7R: Nikon SLR from NoName, Leica-R from Metabones, and Leica-M from Novoflex. They all seem quite good. I'm not sure I detect any quality difference with the expensive Novoflex over the others. It's very good, but I'm not sure if I would have had any issue with another brand, given my experience with some others.

Novoflex has been making leica devices since the beginning (at least 1940) and this adapter is a finely made piece of engineering and works fine with all my Leica lenses from the 50s and up. It fits the Nex-5, and Nex-3N that I own, and I expect it is a good fit for all E Mount SONY cameras.I have another adapter (chrome finish) from Voigtlander dealer which is also very good, and a little less expensive.

I tried several cheaper M-to-E mount adaptors, but this was the only one that fit both the Sony a7 bodies and the M lenses well. It's tempting to go with a lower-priced alternative, but I look at the solid fit as an investment in the equipment. I also use and recommend the NovoFlex Nikon F-to-E adaptor for the same reasons.

This is a perfect adapter for Sony E-Mount cameras. It fits perfect and tight with M mount lens. Though it is expensive I would recommend. Quality and built are excellent.I has Fotodix adapter before and has some focus issues, but with this new adapter my photos are sharper now.-Samir

I own several Nex adapters of different brands, but this is the best designed. I always trust it, and the lock button doesn't get in your way, while also being easy to click. I feel confident with it and my Leica lenses.

I read lots of reviews of other leica M to Sony E mount adapters but was wholly unconvinced about the quality and fit. I eventually put my faith into my experiences of German Engineering precision and passion for "getting it right" and subsequently placed my order for the Novoflex NEX/LEM adapter. It arrived on prime next day. It comes in a clear plastic box with fitting instruction leaflets in english and german. Just as I envisaged the quality and fit were both perfect. The instructions advises to firstly attach the lens to the adapter and secondly to attach the adapter to the camera. On the outer rim of the adapter is a small white arrow indicating the correct alignment position. Right next to the arrow is a small spring loaded button which slides back to dismount the coupled adapter/lens unit. It works like a dream, a perfect rock solid fixing. No movement. Yes its not cheap but well worth it in my experience.

This is a very expensive item! Given that you can pick up M mount adapters on eBay for a few pounds, it seems more than a little ludicrous to splash £130 on one. If you can afford it however, then this is the one to get.Currently I own three E mount to M adapters for my a7r: A Fotodiox, a Voigtlander close focus adapter and the Novoflex. Here's their characterisitcs:Voigtlander: slight play between focus ring and mount, and slight play between mount and camera. The lens can be slightly wobbled around when mounted. Like all adapters, the voigtlander overshoots infinity by quite a margin, making it easy to lose a landscape shot unless care is taken. It's a heavy, very expensive item and not especially well made.Fotodiox: This is a light, well made and well engineered item. It looks great on the camera and has very little play between lens and mount. Like the Voigtlander, it overshoots infinity, but by a smaller margin than the Voigtlander.Novoflex: this is a very plain, light mount. It nails infinity almost perfectly too. The crucial point is that it has no play between mount and camera and mount and lens. Of the three, it's obviously the most precisely engineered.So, massively expensive then, but given the quality of glass the Novoflex is designed to mount, it makes complete sense to use this instead of other, less precise options. After all, a lens that moves in its mount when you focus is never a good thing!

The NovoFlex adaptor for Leica M is a good well made product. Both the fit on the camera and on the lens is firm with no play at all. There item feels solid in the hand.I thought it was expensive but I myself thought it was better to pay more for a quality product made in Germany like Leica than a cheaper product I would not be happy with.

This, I understand, is not the cheapest adapter for this combination; but it surely illustrates the old saw that you get what you pay for. For the money you get a superbly engineered piece of equipment that fits perfectly and works like a dream. It looks high quality and that is exactly what it is. It is my second Novoflex adapter -- I also have the Leica M to Sony NEX camera version -- and I would not hesitate to get more versions from Novoflex should I ever need them.

Very, very nicely made and works perfectly. Mounting the the adapter onto the lens and then mounting them both onto the camera are a smooth and perfect fit. Although on the expensive side, I am completely satisfied with what I bought.
