The Flanger I Wanted, at an Amazing Price
Flanger is, without a doubt, my favorite modulation effect. It comes in a variety of flavors, so depending on what you're looking for, this may or may not be it.What it is:* A great clone of the EHX Electric Mistress. While I try not to buy knock-off clones, this one really nails it. It's got everything from subtle seascapes to giant whooshing jetplaning, all with very few knobs and tweaking. Some of my other flangers have lots of knobs, yet never sound as good. This one just sound like what I expect a flanger to sound like.* Small. It's got a great footprint. Not too many knobs and switches to twiddle (which I also love), but it's so good at what it does, that you can dial in your tone quickly and forget about it. I put it at the very beginning of my effect loop (post tone and drive effects, and post preamp, but pre all other modulations, delays, and reverbs).* A great value. For under $100 USD, this thing is a steal. Yes, I understand that it drives down the market for US-Made, boutique pedals (of which I have many), but it just sounds so damn good that I don't care. I don't have any other inexpensive clones on my board, but this thing is too good to pass upWhat it isn't* Overly versatile. If this is the type of flanger sound you're after (which, quite frankly, I'd imagine it is for a lot of folks), then you're in luck. If you want to experiment, or you want some secret sauce, maybe look elsewhere (but also still get this)* An original/vintage EHX stomp. If you're a collector, this isn't as sexy as your "real" pedals. But for playing, it's fantastic* Battery friendly. But really, I'd imaging most people reading this review are probably already invested in some power supplies (at the very least, some wall warts).Go listen to some reviews, then play it and judge for yourself. Personally, this pedal makes me very happy. I liked it enough to take the time to review it, so that says something.

This is a very good sounding pedal. This is a correction to a negative review made in error.
Update to my previous negative review which I've now deleted - I've discovered I made a mistake in harshly criticizing this pedal. The pedal was not the cause of the static noise in the below review. It was likely caused by a faulty power source. So sorry Mooer. My regrettable error. This pedal sounded great! Sorry for the return.

Not bad for the price.
Not many options on the market when it comes to a deluxe electric mistress clone or inspired flanger these days and the newer EHX ones don't sound very good to my ears. This pedal was recommended to me by another player and I have to say it's really pretty good for the Pink Floyd songs I bought it to use on. I've been able to nail some of the tones from the wall with it so far thru my laney lionheart. It can take a little time to dial it in but the tones are surprisingly close, especially for the price. I run the color around 10:00 but I don't like the range function knob I keep that turned all the way down. It's funny because I'm the kind of guy who is pretty picky and owns many boutique pedals and other pieces of gear and I'm actually pretty happy with this little pedal on my board. Unless you can find one of the older EHX models or the early reissue ones from the 90's this is probably your best option for an authentic mistress tone. It sounds better than you'd expect a pedal in this price range to sound and the true bypass is a nice feature.

Great cheap flange really awesome for studio
I love this pedal it’s flexible and a great musical flange and it’s so small and convenient. However I took it off my board because it has a little volume drop and tone suck. But overall great pedal for the studio

Electric Mistress in a small box
First of all, this pedal took several tries for me to find the right pedal to pair it with. I don't care for it on either of my guitars as a clean effect, however after putting it after my Vicks Audio Violet Ram's Head Fuzz the magic came out. The Violet Ram's Head is so far my favorite dark Fuzz tone & for some reason the Eleclady matches perfectly with it. I also tried it with my SpaceMan Titan II Fuzz & it didn't work.Secondly, it does take some time fiddling with the Eleclady to find the right settings & I'm not sure if I have it yet. I don't mean this as a negative at all. Once I got the COLOR knob set right, I've mostly been playing with the RATE knob. So far, although it sounds good as faster speeds, I like the slower speed better, around 1:00. I see this as a big feature of this pedal: you have what seems to me a lot of room for adjustment. After getting the COLOR down one night, I continue to get a very musical sound out of it as I play with the RATE knob.Good job MOOER. Now, if the gadget holds up to constant use, I'll be even happier.

Instant Gilmour Tone. Not the best quality control.
Short Version. If you're looking for classic Pink Floyd tone this pedal nails it. I was convinced to try it after reading a review of it on Gilmourish.com which gave it rave reviews. From the site... "The Mooer ElecLady, although cheap and incredibly small, offer perhaps the most convincing replication of the Electric Mistress tone. It’s closer to the Deluxe, with a distinct jet flanging but it also has some of that airy character of the mid 70s Mistress". Once I got it and put it on my pedalboard I found it to be as good as they said. I particularly like the fact that I can get nice flanging effect without loosing the guitar's bottom end. The only reason I have given the pedal 4 stars is that mine died after about 3 months of light use. The seller agreed to a refund and I'll use that to get another Eleclady but I'd have preferred not to have to deal with it. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this pedal.

Beautiful, insane... beautifully insane.
I had an Electric Mistress back in the 1970s, one of the old 18v versions which took two 9v block batteries. It sounded beautiful, except for the frying bacon, volume drop when the effect was engaged and temperamental footswitch. This tiny little thing gets very, very close to the tone of the original and is, if anything, capable of even more insanity at extreme settings. The Filter switch is great for the classic "Ball bearing rolling down a steel pipe" sounds and, in normal use, the effect goes all the way beautiful, ethereal shimmers to "what the bloody hell is THAT?"There's no noticeable volume drop in use and it's considerably quieter than the original Mistress. A fantastic little box which will see plenty of use.

Two owned - two failed
I've had two of these flangers and they have both failed after a couple of months of light home use. The first just wouldn't power on, the second has no effect on the signal from the guitar at all, as though it were bypassed. One failure I would put down to being unlucky with a bad batch, but two failures screams that there is something seriously wrong with their manufacturing process and quality control. If this was a £20 pedal I would be a smidge more understanding, but it's a £50+ pedal and this is unforgiveable. I had been considering a number of Mooer pedals to replace bulkier units, but I don't think I can trust the brand any more. Disappointing and absolutely not recommended.

Excellent quality/price
This little guy has a lot to offer. I was looking for a budget flanger and came across the eleclady on some review. I've been playing around with this pedal for a month now and I have to say that it has a really nice sound, very close to the electric mistress, for half price and size. And that's something really valuable. The quality/price of this pedal is excellent, and with its micro size it can fit in any pedalboard easily. The case is sturdy and resistant, really nice, no hum/hissing problem at all, no volume drops, and mooer has finally added a white sign on the 2 small knobs (old models were just black, you couldn't see anything...i have an older ensemble king and it's a pain...).Absolutely reccomended if you're looking for a budget or compact size flanger!

Deluxe secret sauce.
Lovely little flanger has that NYC flavour. Don’t be fooled by it’s size. Versatile, road worthy build quality and full of character.

Very versatile and sounds great.
Lots of options from subtle chorusy effect to full blown fighter jet swooshing sound. Perfect for all my Stone Roses covers. Well built, sounds great, good value for money. Definitely up there with the Boss Flanger.
