Perfect for the job
I used these to rebuild my dock. It was put together with a little angle brackets and one bolt. These are amazing for making a strong dock. My dock is a thing of beauty now. The new cedar boards on top help too.

Not enough backer plates included.
Doesn’t include enough backer plates. Really dumb and deceiving. Must buy 4 more backer plates for a proper complete kit.

Need 4 more back plates
Good quality, nice to have a kit but the math does not add up. 4 corner brackets need 2 back plates each, that is 8 but the kit only comes with 4. Had to buy 4 more but the plates I found on Amazon took 1/2 inch bolts and did not work as well.

Kind of Incomplete.
It’s a nice product but incomplete. If you install them as directed on the box (see photo) then you’re 4 backer plates short. I ordered extra in anticipation so it’s not that big of a deal, just something to keep in mind when ordering. The 4 stars is only due to the package being incomplete, if the kit included 4 corners and 8 backing plates then I would go 5 stars.

Partial kit only
Not sure I fully understand this kit - it’s supposed to be a full four corner kit, it already doesn’t include carriage, bolts, nuts, and washers, but it gets worse from there.In order to cover four corners, you’d need to buy two of these kits and you would have four of the corner brackets left over because you need eight backer plates to complete four corners and this kit only comes with four backer plates. Doesn’t make any sense.
