Worth the investment
I received a dozen of these diapers as a gift and just ordered this 6 pack because I LOVE them. My daughter is 9 weeks and up until this point we had been using disposables, partly because she was tiny and the bumgenius diapers were just way too bulky for her as a newborn, but mainly because I was a little nervous about making the switch.I started with cloth wipes to "ease my way into it" (we make our own solution and spray it onto flannel wipes) then finally put a cloth diaper on her. I haven't looked back! They are so easy to use and it's nice to be able to wash them all without worrying about inserts. Nice and simple, no complaints yet. Also, they are really nice to look at. Such vibrant colors!Overall I would recommend these to anyone who is considering cloth diapering.UPDATEmy daughter is now almost 6 months old and we still absolutely love these diapers. It's been easing adjusting the snaps to fit her correctly as she grows, and we have had zero blowouts or leaks as she sleeps through the night. I'm hoping to continue keeping my stash in good shape so I can use them again with our next baby.

Super convenient!
Started using these as soon as our baby hit 8 lbs. Even before we got them through the recommended number of washes, they were able to hold an amazing amount. The few leaks have always been from too loose setting (easy fix once you figure it out) or letting the inner liner get outside the outer part (so just pay attention to how everything is lying as you puy it on). Snaps are perfect tightness: they hold strong, but are easy enough to undo for changing. The only slight downside is if you spray clean these before throwing in wash, the rouching around the legs can be hard to get. Dad especially prefers these over prefolds.

Fabulous diapers, way better than disposables!
After reading quite a few complaints about the newer version of the elemental vs. the old, I have determined that I LOVE these diapers. I have not had a single leak or blow out (breastfed baby, so very runny poos) and my daughter's bum has not been red or irritated once since switching. She was quite tiny (still is only 22 percentile in weight at 9 weeks) so I was unable to use cloth diapers (without investing in newborn AIO's as well) and we were using Seventh generation and Honest company disposable diapers without much success. At least 2-3 times a week she would have blow outs up her back or out the sides. With the BG's we are completely avoiding this! She also is able to fit them quite nicely at 10 lbs. without irritation. In regards to staining, I have noticed stains a few times, but after the next wash they are gone. I have not needed to sun them yet. The only complaint I would agree with is drying time. I have found that if I dry them as is out of the wash for 40-50 min. and then flip them inside out for another 20-40 min that they dry nicely. Definitely worth the money!

Work great for twins & first time cloth diaper user
I have 30 of these for my twins and they are fantastic. I wish I had used them with my first child as well instead of disposable. I love that they are all in ones - I don't have time to stuff, etc. Just throw them in the washer for two cycles and they come out great. I don't pretreat poops or anything. there is some staining but I haven't treated them yet to try to get stains out. I started using them when the kids were about 10 pounds and I would get some leaks out the leg holes but they are only 11 or 12 pounds now and I don't get pee leaking. I do get occasional poo leaks but that is because my kids only poo once every 5+ days, so when they go it is a TON and let me tell you, these hold twice as much poo as a Pampers would (I know because I have been experimenting!). I think Pampers is the best disposable on the market and I will continue to use those when we travel, etc.Give these a shot! They really are easy to use.

No longer waterproof at 2 years.
I used to love these. They worked great from newborn days on up until about year 2. That is when the waterproof outer layer stopped working... we'd get frequent leaks (and not because the diaper was soaked, but because the outer layer became porous). I was expecting that these would last for at least 1 kid and hoping they would last longer. We had a stash of about 15 and used them everyday for 2 years when they started wearing out. We used the recommended soap and dried them in the dryer.Until the leaking problem I loved these. We had fewer leaks with these than with disposables (which we used on occasional outings). They were soft, fit well, and the rest of the construction held up well. I'm very disappointed that the waterproof layer broke down.

These are okay...much prefer BumGenius Pocket Style
The pros of these diapers are easy to wash, have not kept any odors or stains after drying them in the sun, fit our son well (he is a long, chubby, big baby!) and have not had any leaks. Unfortunately I don't love their fit or the way the fabric bulges in the center. They also do not wick any moisture away once the baby wets them so it seems very uncomfortable. While I'm happy I have them and we use them daily, I much prefer the BumGenius pocket style diapers. I find them easier to put on (no bulky fabric), much faster to dry, and they keep our son dryer. I will buy more pocket style and will skip the Elementals.

Amazing Diapers!!
After facing the old-fashioned fold-up flannel square diapers and deciding I could never make myself use cloth diapers for my babies, I discovered these! They fit well and wash well. The variety of colors is also fun for me. I use homemade detergent for washing, with some vinegar every once in a while. Directions say to wash the darks and light separately, but I don't have the patience for that and wash them together, and the lighter coloured diapers have got a little 'dingy' looking around the edges, but it doesn't alter their functionality. They are a little more expensive, but the time saved in not having to stuff or snap in liners is well worth it to me. They can go strait from baby to wash to dry and back to baby. These are the only cloth diapers I foresee buying for my babies!
