Great stuff. I use it to clean my knives. It leaves a nice, thin protective coating behind. This stuff is very similar to Benchmade's Blue Lube cleaner, but is about half the price.

I have been using prolix for 10 years now. I shot a new Rock River Arms M4 during a carbine class with over 1500 rounds fired in 3 days and the firearm function flawlessly. I disassembled the M4 and compared it to other M4s that went through the class, mine had less worn spots than the others. It dries to a dry film but I still place a little of their Xtra-t dry lube on critical spots. I use it on all my firearms including black powder firearms with great success, never had a failure to fire and cleans well. I still use a copper remover on long guns when needed but flush out with prolix instead of other products. It simply works.
