Audiovox FLRSGM2 Flashlogic GM Remote Start Bypass with T Harness

I bought the item from them and they first ask for your vehicle information, so they can pre-program it for you and send you the right module depending on your car. The Remote Start package that they sent me, which is in the picture, that corresponds with my car was the FT-GM2-DC. I had the wires done at a auto electrician for $80 as I did not want to brick my car, but install the cables into the key ignition my self.If you have a 2009 Chevy Malibu and want to install it yourself; The BNC board is under the stereo and to get to the ignition key you will need to take out like 10 screws. Luckily all the screws but one are the same size so there is not confusion where everything needs to go. Once they all the covers are removed you will need to reach underneath the dash with a flash light, recommend one that attaches to your head as you'll need both hands, and follow the diagram on which to cables that need to be removed. Which can be downloaded at the idatalink website for your car model.Once installed, the programming is not that difficult, the remote start worked fine.

Simple and easy to install. The hardest part was getting to the ignition. I know that each car is different but overall an easy experience. I added aftermarket remotes to get a mile range for starting. Love this thing. Cheaper than viper, easier to install and didn’t have to pay someone else to install it

Seller went out of his way to accommodate my questions and issue. I was happy overall and my only complaint was with the firmware provided containing a 60 second start-up delay on a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu (standard model). This wasn't the sellers fault and I chose not to pursue correction since I didn't want to spend the time to remove and reinstall.

Great item , plug and play. Had it for a couple of years and still works great!!! Highly recommended !
