The color (LED) is exactly what I was looking, ...
The color (LED) is exactly what I was looking, but the texture is thick and gummy, really difficult to work with, and takes ages to dry. Not worth the effort except when I've got lots of time and a special occasion to prep for.

Impressed! Nice polish
It's a one coat polish that lasted 3 days on my nails without chipping. Good polish. Would have been 5 stars if the drying time was quicker.

Five Stars
My favorite nail polish ever, very durable, doesn't peel off after a couple of days.

Uslu's specialty top coat, Crackle polish
There are so many great things about this brand, the unique names, the expansive color line. However, Whack is Crack (IAH, George Bush), is only an okay polish for me. Crackle polishes have been done and phased out from every major player, (OPI, China Glaze, etc.), for a few years now. Perhaps they are having people try these to get their name out there, since most people are no longer buying the crackle finishes. However, if you were to ignore the fact that this particular polish is no longer on trend there is much to like about it.For starters, the bigger Uslu bottles sport an amazing slightly wide flat paddle brush with a curved end. This puts the polish down perfectly right at the cuticle line, without flooding, or having to be an expert at angling a regular flat cut brush. It spreads out, covering almost the entire nail plate, so that I can get the polish down in about two passes, saving time and eliminating any errant brush strokes or balding. The formula is creamy, and applies smoothly. Its not thin or watery, nor is it gloppy. Just know that because of the nature of crackle polishes it does dry extremely fast, and if you aren't careful it will dry on your brush creating drag spots. Though the pigmentation on this black was not as rich as I'd like, it's a crackle, so the point is to see the polish underneath, therefore I'll give it a pass.I know the instructions say to use two coats, and on probably any of their other colors you should and would, this is a specialty top coat... you aren't going to do two coats, because it won't work to create the crackle effect. It will make a bumpy mess, leaving others to wonder if you let a child do your nails for you. While the crackle effect dries matte, use a top coat. If you don't it will flake off after a day or so. Such is the nature of both mattes and crackles. All in all it's a good brand, love the bottles and presentation, but on this particular finish it's a fashion pass.

Flight of Fashion
This is a premium nail polish that is formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and toluene. It is more than just a black nail polish. When painted over another polish, it cracks making some cool patterns. For summer it look terrific applied over white or light pastels. It is quite dramatic when placed over red or orange. But I wasn't especially impressed when used alone. The polish is quick drying and seems to last. While naming polishes after international airports is a clever idea, frankly I found the name objectionable and insensitive. "Whack is crack" reminded me of the late Whitney's Houston's infamous interview with Diane Sawyer where she said "crack is whack", stating that wealthy people would not have to resort to a street drug like crack. I may be unduly optimistic but I assume that most people realize that the city of Houston is not named after Whitney. And for what it is worth, neither the color or the texture evoked the spirit of Houston, a city I have visited many times. That being said, this polish will help you achieve a fashion forward look. I usually just buff my nails, a habit developed after dealing with the disastrous after effects of a year or so of acrylic nails. When I use polish it is usually clear or neutral colors although I do miss the color and creativity I enjoyed with the acrylics. Still it is fun to play with color and texture. This polish does not contain objectionable chemicals, is quick and easy to use and when used with other colors provides a fun yet classy look.

LOOKS BETTER IN THE BOTTLE THAN ON YOUR FINGERS/TOOTIES
USLU AIRLINES NAIL POLISH - METALLICSWhen I saw this polish I immediately thought of my grand daughter. She loves to wear polish on both her fingers and toes. The polish comes in a cute bottle and looks very cool and funky -- we thought it would come out in a dark ebony color with sparkles throughout. We were in for a huge surprise.First we put the polish on her fingernails. What a disappointment. There are hardly any glitters or sparkle at all. What we ended up with is a plain clear base coat that had hardly any sparkles showing. Too bad, it looked so promising --Then Paige had the idea to paint her toe nails with a pink polish and try putting the USLU AIRLINES POLISH on top of that -- maybe then the glitters and sparkles would show. Nope, not even with a pink base coat.We did apply a second coat and did manage to get a few sparkles on her thumb. A little while later -- they came off! Hmm -- certainly not worth the $16 asking price. We have another glitter and sparkle nail polish that we purchased at a retail store for under two bucks. And guess what? It works fabulous, tons of glitter, tons of sparkle. So, if you are looking for a base coat with hardly any glitter or sparkles showing up and want to throw sixteen of your hard earned dollars out the window, this is the product for you.If you are sensible and like to get a bang for your buck, go to the nearest retail store and get some polish there for a much better product and a lot less cash.Thanks.
