1) Yes, it stinks, use a booth.2) Pricey for many people. Ran through a bottle in 6 prints.3) So far in designs for Medical parts and bike parts as well as models it has been an exceptional material.4) Currently using the Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K in my industrial design shop for this material.5) Exceptional detail. Thin will get you a fair amount of flex, thick is quite rigid. Combine those two concepts and you can produce some interesting work. Handles very high temps (110 C) for short periods (10 min) over and over (although this is technically outside specs it is interesting - we replaced a $200 dollar device with a $0.20 one.)6) Recommend looking up the Loctite specs so you can dial things in.

This resin is great. Tough with a good balance between rigidity and flex. Sands and drills nicely. Super opaque black. Used my digital calipers to compare model to print dimensions after curing the result was absolutely zero shrinkage. Its more viscous and does take a longer layer exposure time than standard resin but I think it is worth the trade-off. Just wish I stocked up when it was on sale for prime day for $55.99 because it jumped up to $79.99 at the time of writing, which is too expensive.On my Photon Mono I've been getting good results with exposures at 42s bottom layers and 6s normal but haven't run a full calibration and think those could go a little lower. I believe those times should work for any printer with a mono screen

I'm pretty happy work this resin despite the cost. Very slow printing, this batch was 19 hours. I'm assuming to get a fairly opaque Black you need much longer exposure time. Make sure you're well ventilated! I hand wash with 90% isopropyl and buff dry with paper towel to get this nice satin finish. You can actually buff & polish fairly easily, too, if you want gloss.... just a BIG can of worms getting into gloss as you uncover every imperfection. Lastly, they do scratch and leave a white mark. I found you can hit scratch with a Black sharpie and wipe clean with isopropyl again, disguises mark pretty well.

This is spendy resin, but it is worth it for tough resin parts. It requires insanely long exposure times. On my Phrozen Mighty 4K, I use 11 seconds layer time, 40 seconds for the bottom. This produces flawless prints. I've gone through twenty bottles in the past year and would highly recommend it.

After buying the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K 3d printer. I was feeling inspired so I bought 3 bottles ofPhrozen Onyx Rigid Pro 410 3d printing resin. After much study and many attempts.Thus far I have been unable to print a single thing. The supports did slightly print in one try but none after. Other resins work fine. At Phrozens website I did find the settings for this resin. Didnt workI tried contacting Phrozen. So far no good. Im very unhappy with this resin.Im a bit nervous about buying more resin from Phrozen.The Printer? Is Amazingly perfect. Well built. Elegant, beautiful. Works great. Very happy. Thanks

12-2022 Update:(Initial Review Follow-up, Updated+Detailed Review, and Recommendations Below, above original review)TL;DR: Don't buy it if your printer projects consist of decorations/miniatures or light-duty, Thingi-prints.Resin is thick, slow to print, and still fairly prone to shattering.Do consider buying if you're comfortable accepting that the cost of the first bottle may be fully put towards exposure-and-mix ratio testing; as well the cost of Siraya Tenacious (or similar, if such resin exists yet) as required tandem purchase to see possible results for your mechanical/durable printing projects' demands.Purchasing Recommendations: If you're looking for a quality-finishing matte, thick resin like Onyx, I'd suggest trying out Anycubics Crafstman line of resins, or Siraya's Build resins, or even Siraya's Easy resins. Resione's K wasn't much different performing than the Onyx is, but their F-series is pretty much as advertised. I don't suggest using Siraya's Tenacious alone, as it doesn't keep shape well when printing any kind of supported print (so, any print if you always opt to elevate your parts off the plate).(I've meant to return to this review and update for months now, but haven't seemed to remember to do it when I've had the time. Better late than never!)Initial Review's Post-Mortem: Unfortunately, those washing machine clutches were quicker to fail than my PETg attempts, lasting less than a week each. I gave it another go after minor overhaul of the reverse engineering job I did on the original washer's clutch puck to rule out design error. The following attempt prints were an improvement over my original model and prints, but even with seemingly perfect gear engagement, matching the same backlash as OE parts had, just 4 days in use and the prints sheered.Following that print job, I used the resin for different applications. I also tested varying exposure times, ranging from 10.5s to beyond 22s (using without a means of heating the resin) ; configured at the standard layer heights to taller ones (ones that would merit the use of 20s+ layer times with this thick type of resin class). Always the prints were on the tough feeling and textured side, but ultimately shatter-prone.However, with a minor 70/30 mix with Siraya Tech's Tenacious (clear, tested), the strength and pliability/forgiveness was showing to be leaps and bounds better, and ultimately, what I maybe inappropriately anticipated as results from this resin. I highly recommend retaining an old HDPE resin container or attaining empty new ones and labeling weighed out Siraya-Tenacious/Loctite-Onyx mixtures. Anticipate very high layer times, attempt to pre-heat the resin (in the bottle seems fine) before pouring into the vat, and avoid overfilling the vat to prevent large measures of unused resin as letting it set for more than an hour between prints allows the slurry to cool too much, and seemingly separate from itself occasionally, requiring rebottling so that it can be shaken aggressively and properly pre-mixed once again.Take all this into your consideration, do understand I have limited experience and your results may differ and nothing above is hard-truths unless stated otherwise. My experience with the resin has been mostly mechanical/industrial-application, with some small decoration/miniature test prints/gifts in the mix early bottle.---------Original Review:So far so good. Price is hard to make this a go-to Resin instead of spending time to find others of similar spec. Regardless, I felt the need to grab this to set myself a baseline and trust I'd have easy, hopefully strong and solid prints (I have a Phrozen Mighty 4K).The use case for this over printing FDM using a hot, wide nozzle with good PETG is displayed pretty clearly in my attached photos. I've attempted this particular part multiple times in PETG, and it eventually always fails, and can't maintain strength in the tiny features that need to collectively apply force (replacement washing machine clutch puck).Take care when using heavy supports as they can take some of the part with before final curing, even if the part feels fairly rigid coming directly off the build plate.The SDS talks a bit about odor in precaution blocks. For those wondering: This isn't the strongest odor off a resin I've experienced in my short time with SLA printing, but always take precaution and ventilate your space appropriately regardless if your nose can pick up the scent or not. Henkel says to work with it in a well ventilated area--I wouldn't disregard that, and at least throw up a box fan in your window exhausting out, ensuring fresh air can enter your room from some other area of your home, or from another window to prevent back drafting.Printer: Phrozen Mighty 4kSettings: Matched Phrozen's recommendations as displayed on their site under the appropriate resin profiles for the Mighty 4k- I sided on the higher side of parameter ranges, either meeting the max or picking above the middle for.I'll update my review as I work through my bottle and begin testing and employing mechanically focused prints.

Great resin for high accuracy printed parts. Really surprising to see that this was from Henkel/Loctite. Works great with Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k and Sonic Mighty 4K printers. The quality of the resin is really amazing. I'm waiting for it to be back in stock to buy enough bottle for all year round projects!
