This is my first disposal air switch. It was recommended by my contractor and I thought it was a stupid idea. Wrong! This is a great product and quite safe since air trips the electricity. However, since it is mounted adjacent to the sink, I would not recommend for a household in which younger children help with the dishes or play in the kitchen sink.....The ORB finish matches my Moen faucet perfectly. Would but again and recommend.

Beware of the chrome! No longer made of brass!
After researching several of these switches I was thrilled to find one that was in the chrome finish and made of heavy duty brass. Unfortunately when this product arrived it was nothing more than cheap chrome painted plastic. I contacted the company I purchased this from, Plumbing Overstock, and they informed me that the manufacturer had just changed the materials of the product and they were only recently made aware. They were excellent and took care of the refund for me very promptly. Sadly I am again on the hunt for a heavy duty switch that will hold up.

A simple switch fix.
This is the perfect fix for a switch, instead of rewiring for just a switch. A little pricey for what it is, easy to install and works great.

Works like a charm.
Love this product. Plug it in and it's ready to go. The only thing that I do not like is that it is not a match for my oil rubbed bronze faucet but it's close enough.
