This is a good quality expandable hose. After getting the proper brass adapter, this hose and sprayer don't leak at all. Though this is just the first time using it. I will report back if it starts to leak anywhere other than the additional adapter that I purchased. I took off one star because the manufacturer/vendor has provided a quick-connect male connector that has a different thread pitch than standard U.S. hose bibs (faucets). Each end of the hose has a female quick-connect, with one end connecting to the plastic male quick-connect connector that comes installed in the spray gun, and the other end connecting to the (provided) brass male quick-connect connector that screws onto a garden hose bib (faucet). If you have a standard hose bib that uses a 3/4 in. connector, the male quick-connect connector will not screw onto the hose bib due to the thread pitch mismatch. I did not have a 1/2 in. hose bib to see if the 1/2 in. adapter--that comes with the male quick-connect connector (and screws inside the 3/4 in. opening of the male connector)--had a thread mismatch with standard U.S. 1/2 in. hose bibs. I ordered a brass reducing adapter from Amazon (Dixon BMA974 Brass Fitting, Adapter, 3/4" GHT Female x 1/2" NPTF Male) that threads properly onto the 3/4 in. hose bib, and also threads properly into the 1/2 in. adapter of the male quick-connect connector that comes with the hose. I think I saw a similar item at Lowes and another online plumbing fittings website. I didn't want to take a chance and get a 3/4" GHT Female x 3/4" NPTF Male adapter, in case the pitch still had the mismatch problem, but it might still work if the thread pitch can be identified and matched. In this case, you wouldn't need the 1/2 in. adapter that they provide with their male quick-connect connector.

This DOES NOT work with a standard 5/8 garden hose. Only 1/2 hoses work. I think it should be said in the description. Luckily I had some spare plumbing parts that I rigged up to connect hose to this, if not this would have been shipped back.

I bought two of these hoses, they did not even come with a male fitting so I could connect one to the other. I figured I had misread, so I ordered standard quick connect brass couplings from Amazon. They do not fit this hose!

Product came in open and resealed packages missing the hose connections.

this is an awesome hose, NO KINKS, not once ever so far. after you close it, just keep the nozzle open and it shrinks back to small

Nicely made, but the connectors provided do not fit a standard american hose bib, and there is no way to connect a standard american hose nozzle to either end

Looks like it is quality but fittings and threaded adapters are not American standard, pretty much useless then.

In order to use this hose I had to purchase an extra part to reduce the standard male fitting on our outside spiggot. This product is lightweight, flexible, easy-to-use and store. The included nozzle has a quick disconnect fitting that can be removed should the nozzle fail and require replacement. I was able to purchase this product at a discount in exchange for my candid review.
