This book explains the professional way to setup and operate CNC machinery. Peter Smid, the author, really knows his stuff. The topics that get presented are pretty easy to follow and understand as long as your not a complete newbie to CNC. I would recommend this book for people looking to advance their CNC knowledge from beginner to intermediate level. It is a great back to basics handbook for me. Thank you Mr. Smid.

Great information, a book to keep with you after schooling. I was required to have this book for school. My instructor chose this book specifically because it's useful to have if you enter the field of work. And I can totally see why, great to have around, goes pretty indepth, few mistakes though.

Another great book from Peter Smid. Full of great info and tips about CNC machine set up and running as well as practical advice on refining CNC programs. An absolute must for machine shops with CNC mills or lathes.
