Performance at low price
Better than expected performance with existing Cat 5 cables. Longest run is probably only 10m but I still would have expected some speed decrease. None I can see.

It works. No driver required on recent Linux levels.
Put this into a four-year-old server that's running Ubuntu 22.04 and it worked immediately. My bandwidth is a bit asymmetrical as I get 2.35 coming in in 1.95 going out, but that's a big improvement over 1 gb.

Works, doesn't drop out like my $500 motherboard's own network card
The NIC in my brand new $500 X670E Ryzen 7000 motherboard kept losing connection while downloading large files at speeds in excess of 300-500Mbps. Turns out that it has an Intel I225-V chipset, which has a design flaw in the hardware. Rather than deal with the hassle of returning the motherboard (which basically means rebuilding my PC all over again, and probably won't fix the issue since they'd just send me another board with the same defective chip), I opted to go with this adapter instead.Originally I was looking at more expensive NICs but none of them seemed like a good deal for the money. I wanted 2.5G for futureproofing (currently have a gigabit connection), but didn't want to spend $100 for it — especially given that I just spent over $3K building this PC — This card was one of the only cheap 2.5G cards that didn't have a bunch of 1 star reviews. I can see why now, cause it just works, and works amazingly.Make sure you download the latest driver from the Realtek website to get the most out of this card. Also, check out its settings in Device Manager and look up what each setting does because there is a LOT you can do with this NIC that will improve your performance in both gaming and downloading.

Better then on old onboard 1Gig nic that died

It works.
Having dealt with internet via USB phone tethering for several days, I admit I have an urge to just give 5 stars across the board for this thing because it gave me my internet back. That said, while admittedly it's nothing special and a rather cheap part, it does in fact work flawlessly and without issue, which is all that counts. Plugged it in, ran the install DVD (on-line drivers are listed in instruction booklet if you don't have a CD-ROM drive), and it worked great.Outside chance you'll have issues seating it in the PCIe slot like I did - the backplate cover doesn't QUITE fit my PC tower spacing (slightly too wide), so I had to shift the adjacent PCIe covers Up/Down a tiny bit to give it sufficient room. But if you have a pre-built computer you probably won't encounter that issue. No other complaints, and that wasn't really an issue anyway as it just required an extra 30 seconds of tweaking.Very satisfied with my purchase.

Not at all as pictured
Completely different from pics on page. Circuit board is different, IC close to plug in is different, board is shorter with no place to mount heat sink, and there is no heat sink. The chip certainly wouldn't last long without a heat sink...I saw that someone on another review mentioned no heat sink so it seems there's a manufacturing problem here.

It works fine
I have used Cudy wifi adapters for several computers in the past and haven't ever had any issues with them, but I have never used any of the RJ45 nics. I wasn't hesitant at all trying it, and I can confirm they work as advertised. Best 2.5gb nic you can get for the cost.

No longer has a heatsink
Update: Cudy quickly responded to the issue I had and made everything right. A company with good customer service is always appreciated.
