Laptop to monitor USB cable
USB cable for laptop to monitor. Works great. All I had to do was plug it in.

Can't connect 2 monitors to an M2 MacBook Air
This works fine as a dumb connector, but if you add a second monitor to a MacBook Air with M1 or M2 chip only one of them will work. You need additional software, such as DisplayLink, to add the second monitor. Some docks support DisplayLink but this being a very simple device does not.

Did the trick at a great price!
This was just what the doctor ordered! So glad I found this on Amazon! I connected my monitor and plugged the usb-c end into my Mac Studio and presto - two displays! And I didn't even have to install any software! About to purchase one or two more for future use! The picture quality is excellent and I love the sleek, fashionable design (using it on a station that has the cables exposed)!

Great for short-duration use
Plug and play. Works great, stable signal. The only problem is that after a couple weeks, it stops working. Unplugging it and plugging it back in (rebooting the adapter, basically) gets it going again. Cheaper than buying a new monitor and only slightly less convenient.
