Teyleten Robot STM32F103C8T6 Minimum System Development Board STM32 ARM Core Learning Board Module for Arduino (5PCS)

This is an excellent deal for a pack of 5 STM32F103C8T6 Blue Pill boards, particularly during chip shortage. I bought these to use with the visualgdb extension for some of the examples in the book "Beginning STM32: Developing with FreeRTOS, libopencm3 and GCC", here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DGGHZN6/The "8" is for 64KB flash memory. (easily confused with the "B" version). Some reports indicate that there's actually 128KB in all of them, but the "8" versions didn't pass QA. ymmvFrom ST-LinkV2 or STM32 Smart V2 Ribbon Cable Connector:Pin1 PWR -> 3.3V Power is SENSED not PROVIDED! (Code 43) A request for the USB device descriptor failed.If problems are encountered programming, check the firmware version on the ST-LinkV2 is recent. Bought these for an Arduino project I was building. These are different than Atmega based Arduino boards - these don't come ready to program from the USB port. After I programmed a bootloader into them (Maple V2), I was able to program from the USB port using the Arduino IDE. Though these are sold as 64K flash parts, they actually have 128K of flash (the program I burned was 80K - programmed and works fine). Good price for 5 qty.

Not only that it is not the real STM32 chip, this is also not going to work with Arduino out of the box. After some research it looks like it needs a bootloader and you will need another hardware to install it. It is crap and nowhere does it mention anything about it. That is the last time I am buying anything like that. Waste of time soldering pins and trying to get this to work through STMCube ide or arduino.

These are Chinese Clone chips of the STM32 - They still work but you must adjust the compiler..

I have no problem paying extra for a genuine product and all 5 are real! Definitely worth the money to know that you're getting a genuine STM32, and this little board is powerful.

Genuine ST microcontroller as advertised but has incorrect pull-up resistor on USB port. It's 10k ohm but should be 1.5k.

Because this is not a geniune ST device, you can't download file into it by using keil or Cube IDE.

I purchased from 2 other brands and was not able to upload a bootloader however with this one, it was a breeze. Great product, will buy again.
