Easy to assemble and worked correctly out of the box.

It was easy to swap other than I struggled a little bit to take the lid off.I left my original rubber guard that the electronics sit on just so that I didn’t mess around too much with them.Someone else commented that the key was not super flush against the metal around the edge.(see pic with circles) Minor detail. If that’s a big concern to you, then I would not get it.But for the price and the functionality, I do not mind that it’s not 100% flush.I prefer that any day, then to the loose rubber on the original father I was usingIt worked perfectly once I swapped everythingI kept the back of my original because I want the Logo and I saw someone else post that the code to the key is written in there

Great fob - slightly larger than manufacturer - after switching the fobs out, I put my old key back in the slot and you can see that it doesn’t fit perfect but does the job and looks better than my old fob where all the rubber buttons were missing. 2018 Cadillac XT5It does come with a replacement key which fits perfect but I was and I was not looking to replace the key, just the fob.And as others stated no Cadillac logo on the back.

Very nice but does not come with caddy logo. So make sure to keep your old back otherwise your caddy logo will be missing.

My FOB was very worn, now it looks new. easy to change the shell. it works like new.

Used my original back cover with Cadillac logo, everything has a good fit.

Sat down at the kitchen table (lots of light 😄) and completed the process (take your time). Pretty simple (installed a fresh battery, also). Popped the logo off the worn tattered original fob and a q-tip and a dab of "gorilla" glue and good to go (let it sit overnight). Original emergency key slides right in. Dealership asked for $357 for replacement and programming (WOW!!)...so why not give this a shot was my thought. My only regret and my strong recommendation is to spring for the 2 pack (we all have 2 sets of keys) as the other original set's rubber is starting to loosen up (this is hard plastic that should last as long as the car note 😆). You won't regret the purchase!!!
