Looks sturdy but so easy to pick so what's the point?
Every schoolkid knows how to open these locks, so what are they for?Get one with a key.(Spoiler alert - you try to pull the hasp out of the body to put them under tension, then rotate each wheel in turn until you feel them (a) move slightly apart or in this case (b) when the correct number is selected you can't turn the wheel away from that position. Simples)

Auf das es mein Bike schĂŒtzt
Beim Thema 10% des Kaufpreises trifft es bei mir genau zu und ist fĂŒr mich auch eine ganze Menge.Jedenfalls, das Schloss macht einen wertigen Eindurck, ist entsprechend knollig, aber auch abschreckend und das Gewicht nimm ich fĂŒr das zumindest ruhige gewissen gerne in Kauf.Die Gummierung gefallt mir sehr, gerade beim Transport auf die schnelle auf dem Lenker schĂŒtzt es vor Kratzern...Besser als ein Faltschloss von der Sicherheit allemalNACHTRAG 24.08: Nach nicht mal 2 Monaten wurde bei uns gestern im Keller eingebrochen und das Fahrrad, samt Schloss, sind spurlos verschwunden!!!Ich möchte aufgrund dessen meine Bewertung nicht herausrufen - das zeigt aber, dass selbst das fetteste Schloss, mit dem ich bei all meinen Freunden angegeben habe, mit einer Akkuflex, in wenigen Minuten durchzukriegen ist. Leider wurde das mitgenommen - die Diebe wollten wohl keine Beweise hinterlassen.Was soll ich noch sagen? ob 15 oder 30 oder 50 Punkte an Sicherheit - wenns die Flex schafft, so sollte man vielleicht an den Schlössern und der Materiallegierung weiter forschen? Meine mal gehört zu haben, dass es Metalle gibt, die eine Flex "zerstören" und somit das DurchsĂ€gen unmöglich machen...

If Calsberg made padlocks..... it wouldnât be these
I have found it more of a challenge to open a package of sausages than breaking this. This lock offers absolutely zero protection. I cracked it in less than 10 seconds after my GF set a code. Wish I could crack her that quick!

Good small padlock.

Reasonable strength but easy to pick.
I was reasonably happy with this lock when it arrived. It's fairly chunky and operates nicely .I was disappointed though when I saw plenty of videos online of people picking the lock.It's obviously a very poor design from ABUS.
