Te enseña que el triatlón es una ciencia pero también un arte. Describe claramente buenas prácticas para entrenar sin quemarte ni lesionarte. Es ideal para el triatleta amateur hecho por si mismo que no tiene recursos o tiempo para entrenar en un club. 100% recomendado

This is a very good guide for all levels
This is a very good guide for all levels. I never do races longer than olympic distance, so there are parts that arent relevant to me, but I found that it answered a lot of questions that i had. Particularly on how to approach race week with regard to both training and nutrition. Ive done two races since i got the book and performed well in both. My energy levels on the day were higher than they have ever been so I am definitely crediting this book for that.

Wish I bought this first
I am a self-coached triathlete that just started a couple of years ago. I wish this book was my first purchase. I have an aversion to books with the word "Bible" in it, just like I do "Dummies" type books, as I generally find books with titles like this are shallow in depth, but this book has been very helpful in teaching me about the concepts of periodization, which I lack. Furthermore, I overtrained and caused a lot of injury this year, and a common recurring theme in this book is about training at the right intensities and volumes to prevent that. I could have saved myself a lot of grief if I learned the lessons in this book earlier. This should be every new triathlete's first book purchase.

Esattamente quello che volevo!
Il manuale, che consiglio sempre di prendere in lingua originale sia per risparmiare sia per non perdere qualcosa nella traduzione, e' esattamente quello che cercavo. Una guida completa dalla a alla z valida tanto per i neofiti della trplice disciplina quanto per gli atleti piu' evoluti.

If triathlon is all you do/have/are in life, then this is definitely your bible.The most thorough approach to successful triathlete living.Everything can and is calculable.If You just want to know and think every aspect of life around this sport, then this is for You.If You are the person that plans a year's spare time (in hours) ahead and divides it into cycles, if you stick to food allowances and -patterns, time schedules etc... this might still be for you.The book is detailed and makes you think.And - just like the Bible -eather you end up with 10 commandments hewn in stone, that you can only fail to "obey", which might make You lose enthusiasm for your wonderful sport,OR you read it as welcome background of a professional, that you implement step by step - always sensitive for what works best for You. Individualizing the lessons, becoming Yours. No one else could be a triathlete like you.Stay You - and profit from this book.Or try to be someone else - and suffer from it.
