Q: are all the pedal for sale like this now equipped with the gate control, everyone is compelling about feedback?

The feedback issue is terrible. Worse, when you save your settings, it will randomly lose those settings. If you use this in a live setting, you'll drive your soundman crazy. Completely unusable pedal.

Q: how is the telephone effect on this beast?

I personally don't like this pedal. I don't know if it was my pedal or if the model is faulted but the gain knob didn't work so I wouldn't be able to tell you
