Difficult to get a good bite on #18 lamp cord.
The clamping wire attachment would be better suited for solid wire. I had difficulty making a good electrical connection with #18 lamp cord. It would work better if stranded wire were tinned first.

Easy fix for broken lamp socket!
Easy to install and works pretty well. My wife’s night time bed light plastic light socket broke and couldn’t be repaired so instead of buying a new socket I bought these. Now the switch is closer and easier for her to use. They also cost less than a new lamp socket and the thickness is just about right!

Very poor quality. Threw both switches in the trash.
(As retired mechanical engineer) The interior design for electrical connections was poorly designed, and subject to failure.The exterior design is attractive, and the on/off switch seemed to be of acceptable quality, but the internals were unacceptable.

Not good
I gave all the low marks but as they both were broken when we got them we weren't able to install. We can't find them at the moment and will send them back when we locate them.
