Works well, easy install

While this product shipped promptly, it was only packaged in bubble wrap and a small box. There was no ESD protection for the electric device at all.After I got the screen installed, it worked normally for about 10 seconds before the screen decided to become all scrambled and completely un-viewable.

Looked scratched and dusty when it arrived but it’s working great so far with no visible imperfections once installed. The screen comes ready to use, do not try to peel anything off as it is not meant to. I put Kapton tape on the back of the screen to act as the insulator so nothing on the motherboard gets shorted and it’s working so far.

Purchased this to replace a broken screen. It works perfectly and calibrated normally. Would purchase again if I ever need to.

This is supposed to be a brand new screen but it is already yellow.....

Received a damaged screen. No problems returning it.

The product came packaged nicely and arrived very quickly but my only issue is there is a small defect in the screen that is noted in the pictures. Besides that I have no complaints.

I have used these to replace bottom lcd screens on my personal ds and a few others for people I know. So far, I have not recieved a bad one, or nonfunctional at least. The install is a bit finicky, not the screens fault, but the design on the ds lite itself.Here are a couple of tips.PUT TAPE THE BACK OF THE LCD!Electrical tape, capstan tape, duct tape, even a layer or two of scotch tape. Cover the whole shiny side with tape. The back is tin, and can contact the traces and joints on the motherboard, causing a short. In other terms, a DEAD ds lite.Go slowly, do not rush. If you rush, you most likely will break something.Have extra tools. Tweezers designed for delicate ribbon cables are very useful. Also a plastic pry too will totally be handy as well.Check the cable seating before locking its tabs. You will have to unplug both upper and lower screen ribbon cables for this install. CHECK CHECK CHECK and CHECK them again. If the cables are not plugged in properly. The ds lite will not turn on. The lcds will flash white briefly if this is the problem. The blue light will turn on bright, then dim, then off.The lcd panels work great. So far I have not had one that was inoperable after the install. I did have one that had a noticeable flicker for a few seconds after it turned on. I went away quickly, but was reocurring each turn on of the ds lite. The colors look evenly matched and are very true to the original, if not better, just slightly. The screens motion remained clear, sometmes clearer than the original. Cant complain for the price if you can do the install yerself.I have gotten multiples of these. An will check for them first each time I may need to do this repair.
