I’ve been using the OBDLink CX for a couple of weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. I mainly bought it to use with BimmerCode for my BMW, and it works perfectly. The connection is quick and stable, and I haven’t had any issues with disconnects or lag, even during extended use. Now I have Bimmerlink as well.What I really like is how compact it is. Once it's plugged in, you barely notice it’s there. It doesn't get in the way at all, and I feel comfortable just leaving it connected full-time. Pairing it with my phone was also very straightforward — it connected right away without any complicated setup.The coding process felt smooth and safe, which was important to me since I’m not a tech expert. It gave me confidence to make small tweaks to my car without worrying about messing something up.Overall, it does exactly what I hoped it would. This OBDII adapter connects right away and works great with the 2 apps that i use on my GR Supra (BimmerCode and BimmerLink). Both apps connect to it and I'm able to perform all of the functions that those apps provide. If you have a BMW or GR Supra and want to interface with the various computers in the car, this is the OBDII adapter to buy. it will probably work with other cars as well, but I haven't tested it out on anything else.

The scan tool refused to connect to the app. No matter what troubleshooting I did, the obd tool never connected.I'll be honest, I contacted support and initially wasn't thrilled with how it went; support was professional, there's no problem there, however the first run at resolving the issue seemed like it was not time well spent.I was contacted directly by the company, which I wasn't expecting, to see if we could discuss the issue. It became apparent not only did they want to solve the issue for me, but they also genuinely wanted to know why the product failed.After several back and forth email discussions, they followed through to come up with a solution that I'm extremely happy with.Legit: this is a solid company who's professional, actually cares about their customers, and cares about making quality obd scanners that work the first time. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I purchased this because the VEEPEAK was draining my 4-series’ battery when I left it connected to use whenever I wanted to use any of the awesome BimmerCode software or others. So I replaced the car battery and used this for a few weeks. However, I was disappointed to see that the only thing this does to lower its power drain is use older versions of the bluetooth standard in its software, and not all that successfully, either. It’s slower than current versions of the Bluetooth standard, which makes coding changes very sloooooow. If you are buying this for the first time, you may not learn that it’s slower than other obd scanners, so be careful that you know what is out there. Otherwise, it does seem to fix the battery drain that comes from keeping it in place.

Connects well, very durable with sleek design. It reads codes and allows you to code features on most BMWs! Accurate and worth the money! Have codes over 7 different BMWs with it so far!

Fantastic adapter!! Works with both its’ host app as well as other aftermarket program apps like BimmerCode. A must have for people who own their car outright and do the work themselves.

Connected fast, gives me good options ( Use Z4 profile on bimmercode). Coded in a few handy things and personalization, mirror angle during reverse, Active sound disabled, disabled audio alerts for things like driver seatbelt and unlock tones.Bimmercode recommended for good reason, a bit expensive but even just a few code changes and the Gauges are super useful.Useable with BimmerLink for HUD/Gauges ! Boost pressures! Temps! Great expansion for things the standard dash may not show!
