Mike Holt's Understanding the 2020 NEC Volume 1 and 2 Textbook Set

These books are awesome! They are the NEC with photos. Great for electricians and inspectors as well.

The information is clear and easy to understand.

I ordered vol.1 & 2 of Understanding The NEC 2020 by Mike Holt. They arrived ahead of the scheduled date and in perfect condition. These books are awesome! They cover all the NEC material with alot of color illustrations, jobsite installation photos that makes it a whole of alot easier to understand the NEC. It comes with practice questions too. You also get both Digital Answer Keys to both books to look up your answers to all the questions. Great investment. Highly recommend.

I am a big fan of Mike Holt, used to watch his YouTube videos.I got these books today. I have no idea how to thank the author for his detailed explanation of each sentence of NEC. As I expected each and every small doubt has an answer in this book. Lucky to have these books. Highly recommend this collection to anyone who is working in Electrical Engineering field.

Ok to clarify the absence of the answer key you either have to buy direct from mike holts site and it with be included or if you purchased from Amazon you will have to call to get access code to the answers which they have provided me. Kind of a second step but that’s how it works. Hope that helps. It’s a well written guide highly recommended.

Easy to understand, illustrated

The book is great, with illustrations and explanations. But I don't see why so many tables from the NEC are missing. There was plenty of room to include all of them, especially since volume two starts with the first section of volume 1.When I need a table, I have to grab the NEC and get the information. Had the books had all the tables in the NEC and the explanations, would have made it a completely useful tool.
