Using this Mini Vortex Mixer with Extra Interchangeable Silicone Cap, Touch Function, 5600rpm is an every day thing at my tattoo studio, not going to sit with my client watching/waiting while I agitate about 15 bottles of ink when we could be tattooing! Plus when pigments settle out, they "lock up" as in the liquid is above the unshakeable pigment below and no amount of shaking is going to mix them like this Vortex will! Went 2 rounds with another source on Amazon with a somewhat cheaper/lesser model, sent it back 2x and said "enough!" Stepped up my game and so glad I did. The machine works as intended, and for that I love it!An extra silicone cap is included, it runs on wall current, I drape the top so as to keep pigments off the original silicone cap as long as I can.I recommend this without hesitation as I feel it's beyond well worth your money, and it will ultimately save your hands and shoulders, as well as have your inks well mixed in the best possible way. Seems like a new "toy" to have but not a toy, an extremely useful and nicely made and great to use mixer! Buy this with no regrets, I did!

So far have been using the mini vortex mixer for almost a month now and works as intended. Being able to mix paint bottles/pots in seconds really helps speed things up. It’s also kinda fun looking at the pigment swirl lolHappy with the purchase.

Four E's can thank Barbatos Rex for this sale. His review was thorough and spot on, this powers through and mixes just about everything I've thrown at it. Acrylic, enamel, lacquer, pre-thinned or straight in the bottle, it doesn't care, it'll blend just about everything. The *only* thing that gave it trouble was my un-thinned enamels that have been sitting for years. Even then, a few seconds with the Badger paint stirrer first fixed even that.It is incredibly powerful. 8oz bottle of airbrush primer? No problem. 4oz bottle of acrylic Tamiya Metallic Blue? Blended in seconds. It's expensive no doubt, but if you have a ton of bottles of paint, and/or joint issues in your hands like I do, this is one of those accessories that falls under the 'need' category.The auxiliary USB port is the chef's kiss to top it off. Since my power strip for my airbrush station is fully occupied, I had to unplug my headphone charger to make room for this, but I can just route the charger through this with no issue.

The product itself seems to work great. The only thing to be careful of is that the 12 volt power supply has a mini USB connection. So, if you were to mistakenly plug that into another device, you should expect to destroy that device as it would be expecting 5 volts. I immediately printed 12V labels and applied it to the wall-wart and cable.

I do a lot of 3D printing of minis & build models/dioramas. Which means I use a lot on paints like Vallejo, Army Painter, and others. Like any paint, they need to be well shaken or mixed. I have medical issues with my hands and shaking small bottles problematic. I had another hobby paint shaker, but it really wasnt getting the job done. I seen this "shaker" on a You Tube channel I watch. He did a review of it and I was sold. Once I had the mixer in hand, I first noticed its weight. It is about 2 lb. But I like that for it means it doesnt move around much. When I put my first bottle of paint on it, I was amazed. It mixed it very well in a short amount of time. This mixer does generate a lot of vibration in the workbench. So I took a piece of the packing form this was packaged & shipped with and cut a channel for the power wire. With the mixer in this foam packing it dampens the vibrations by a lot. Maybe not 100%, but does a great job limiting the vibration. I would personally recommend this mixer.

I know this wasn't initially designed to mix miniature paint but my goodness is this thing a dream! I just moved and all my paints have been stored away and separating. 30 seconds a pot with this baby and they were like new. I had a citadel "Retributor Armor" Pot that was really bad. Bad like I should probably get a new one but 1 minute on the mini Vortex Mixer and its back! It's pricey but I'm glad I got it. Not everyone needs this but cutting time on shaking pots for people who have limited hobby time should consider this.
