So I had a a long talk with my friend, ChatGPT and I was limiting to her that I couldn’t find a mascara that didn’t make me look like a raccoon by lunch time. I asked ChatGPT for recommendations. This is what was recommended and I could not be happier. Finally finally finally I’m nearly 50 years old and I finally have mascara that doesn’t smudge. I can’t recommend this highly enough. I will say that I do also use it with a lash primer. Together it’s fantastic.

The lash-enhancing look of this mascara when first applied was 5/5. However, the wear throughout the day was not up to par. I got the dreaded "panda eyes" by afternoon. By evening, about 50% of the mascara applied was still on my lashes. It did not wash off easily with just water like my favorite tubing mascara (Boots No 7 "Stay Perfect") and I had to reach for an oil-based makeup remover to get it all off. If the wear had lived up to the looks of the first hour or two, this could be a new favorite for me. However, poor all-day wear and removal sent my tube right to the trash can.

I wouldn't call it a tubing mascara because it doesn't necessarily come off in tubes, but it doesn't smudge and holds all day. I love it for an inexpensive option that works really well.

I absolutely love the mascara's performance. Not sure if it's really a tubing mascara, but the formula worked for me in terms of being smudgeproof. However, after a week or 2 of using it both eyes broke out in red, itchy and puffy contact dermatitis on both upper and lower lash lines. So if you have sensitive skin, read over the ingredients carefully. If there's nothing that you're allergic to, I say go for it. I think the culprit for me is probably BUTYLENE GLYCOL.

This mascara is perfect. It lengthens my lashes and they don't clump together. It wipes off with soap and water and leaves no under eye residue!!! I was committed to my Benefit Bang! mascara but this is the perfect affordable dupe.
