The length is great for comfort. Ergonomic curves allow the mouse to fit comfortably between thumb and ring finger.The length takes pressure from the wrist by allowing your fingers to rest in a flat and straighter position. Other products are too curved, with a big arch that cups the fingers. The M510 feels like you hand is just resting on a table top. Very comfortable.The buttons are quiter than generic, but yiu still hear a light click. The middle mouse wheel is a bit wobbly because it clicks left, right, and down (so the mousewheel has a 3 way switch, and also scrolls).The side buttons are large enough to feel certain about which you are on, thanks to a curve in between the side buttons.The USB dongle is easy to take out of the battery conpartment, plugs into the computer, device is detected, and you can use the M510 straight away.You just need to remove the divider between the battery contacts (seen in the pictures). The batteries come with the mouse, but i would recommend buying some rechargeable. Nothing like gaming and suddenly the mouse quits working due to a battery running empty!Overall, a good product. I would prefer the middle mouse button / wheel was sturdier. It feels a bit flimsy and I suspect it will be the first part to fail. However, having the 3-way wheel buttons is going to add more options for the operator.There is no DPi button to quickly change cursor speeds, so your mouse settings will have to be done in the control panel of the computer.The optic is infrared, so there is no visible red laser light from the bottom.Using 2 batteries makes the M510 a bit heavier than some other options, Once I started gaming, I forgot that i was even using a new and different mouse.It feels natural, it works good. Worth every penny!

This mouse is my favorite so far, especially for the good price. It's very smooth, fits my hand well, and has AMAZING build quality and a good scrolling speed. It's clicks aren't silent, but still feel and sound really nice. (It's not creaky or squeaky.) It is very functional and easy to set up, change it's batteries, change what buttons do what, etc.

Smooth scrolling, clicks just fine. I was using Logi M185, well this was a total game changer. My new Logi M510 has heft, sturdiness, just overall better mouse, much larger which fits my hand perfectly. It is definitely a 10 for me.

I and several people at my workplace use this mouse, and so far have had no issues. It's a great value, and performs well on different surfaces. It's not as nice as some much more expensive models, but for the price I think it's very hard to beat. I would like a smooth free spinning mouse wheel to get through large spreadsheets faster, but other than that, I don't notice anything about the mouse daily. And that in my mind is a compliment for something that is used every day. It just works, all day every day. The battery life is insane, but I have the usb sensor plugged in very close to where the mouse sits, so that may one reason why. The bottom of the mouse has nice sized pads, so no issues with them wearing down too quickly and making it not slide. It is not heavy, but not too light either. It feels right in between the heavy and super lightweight mice I have used before. The size is like that too, right in between tiny and large mice. I'm sure the size and weight are designed to accommodate most people, and I would say it does. The forward and back buttons are easy to hit, while not being subject to accidental presses. The accuracy seems just fine for office work, but I have not used this for gaming. I do think it would probably work fine for that as well, as I can notice no lag in general use. I hope this helps

I've purchased a number of these over the years and they are my favorite. They are comfortable to use and work well with all of my computers. I even keep a few spares in my office for this reason: The only issue I've ever had with these is after awhile the buttons get "bouncy". In other words one click of the mouse sends out multiple clicks to the computer. This make for unpredictable results to be sure. It takes a long time to develop this trait but it can be annoying. Hence the hot spares I keep around. Other than that they are the best mouse in my estimation.Buy with confidence.

Love the design of this mouse. It's comfortable, not too small, not too big. Takes two AA batteries. Has 5 assignable buttons and wheel that scrolls up and down and left and right. The sticky feet do come off though.
