Excellent ethernet adaptor with USB-3 ports
If you're new to USB-C this is a must for fast ethernet connection with the added bonus of three USB-3 ports. I've been using it for a week for general internet connection including streamed video, all the USB-3 ports have been used for moving large audio files around: everything works perfectly. In line with the current generation of Mac cables, this is thicker and tougher than the older ones, covered in woven fabric. The device itself is the size of (my daughter tells me) a tube of lipstick, tough but lightweight and there are LEDs showing both internet connection and activity. It arrived well-packaged and quickly, at a very reasonable price. Second recent purchase of a UNI adaptor - highly recommended.

Great product and a good design
I have had this for a few days now using it frequently when moving around and I have to go to say that this is a great product. The ethernet adapter is a very good design, the cable is the right length and all the ports are placed conveniently. The speed of the data transfer on the hub is as advertised with the ethernet port being more than fast enough. Previous brands I had have had ports in awkward positions, weak cables and have overheated. This, on the other hand, does not, the cable is braided making it easier to deal with not getting snagged, the adapter does get warm with use but it is to be expected with a hub this size. This works great with both my laptop and phone. Overall, I would highly recommend for people to purchase, in a next edition some better heat dispersal would be better but, in the end, it is a 5 out of 5.

Compact, smooth and solid for instant connectivity expansion
This is another really good Uni product which I highly recommend.I previously bought the 8 in 1 USB C hub and the standalone Ethernet adaptor to help the family though the extended period of home working under Covid 19. Wifi is so often a frustration and having the direct connections solved a lot of issues! This particular product has the same well finished and solid feel as the others and is really compact for something which combines three USB ports and a LAN connection. As expected, it worked immediately without need for any drivers and my son is very happily using it on his laptop (which is short of ports and doesn’t have a built in Ethernet socket). I am now using the bigger hub for my work PC, as it works with the monitor output and power pass through too (his doesn’t as it has an older USB C connector).I’ve put four stars instead of five for a couple of small reasons: firstly the cable connection wasn’t quite as snug as the other two (has worked without a hiccup though) and secondly the cable is a little too inflexible. We have this working fine as per the photos, but a slightly looser cable would be nice for some.

Worked well with MacBook Pro 16 - 2019 Touch Bar
I brought this adapter to support my transition from a 2015 MacBook Pro to 2019 MacBook Pro 16 with Touch Bar.It worked wonders when transferring information from old MacBook using Ethernet. The claim that this is high speed is accurate - I was able to transfer 1tb of information in just under an hour through the Mac Transfer Assistant. The adapter enclosure is made of a nice metal which matches the Space Grey of the MacBooks. The cable is thick and should last a long time and the USB C connector is of a good size that allows both itself and the power adapter to put in on the same side of the laptop - a nice feature for creating a clean work space. This adapter is also compact enough to carry in the bottom of a backpack or laptop bag.The adapter does not heat up like others on the market and the connection stays reliable for prolonged periods of use. All three USB ports can be used simultaneously alongside the Ethernet. An impressive feat for a small adapter. For the cost and connivence it would be silly and environmentally wasteful to buy two separate adapters.I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone on the market for either a USB or Ethernet adapter.

Nice handy HUB - works with phones too
Really like this adapter, from the braided cable, to the nice metal case (similar color to Macbook) to the tech capabilities. It works straight away, no config/drivers needed, the USB speed is a real 3.0 and the wired connection is 1Gbps. It's a nice mix in a small format, as Macs only have USB-C, but with this one you get those extra ports that you really need. The adapter works with USB-C phones too, you can read flash drives and didn't know you can have a wired connection on your phone too :)

Perfect, exactly what I’ve been looking for :)
Beautiful product. Being a producer and working with a MacBook Pro, the problem of Theo thunderbolts is a problem, this has solved my problem.High quality braided cables, no fraying and they are highly durable. Product works no fuss, connect and away you go. Stylish also, but most importantly slim in size, which is perfect for on the move.Overall, I fully can not fault the product. It is perfect value for money, and function and design are perfect :)

Well made, works well…
This unit appears to be made of a light aluminium structure, whereby I expect plastic these days. This alone made it worth the price to me in a world of cheap junk and tacky plastic nonsense. It works well, and all connections seem good and robust. One thing I’d like is if it sacrificed one of the three USB outlets for one USB-C power input (pass through) so that one could charge the device whilst using it hard-wired.I think in hindsight I will end up buying the sort of device I describe above, which isn’t greatly more expensive. I will keep this for short term usage where charging isn’t an issue.
