The product is great. The scent is weird

Huge time saver. If you disinfect your groceries, this product reduces it all to one easy step. Spray or wipe with a cloth sprayed wet with product, and let sit for 10 mins or so until dry. It's not toxic and safe around food stuffs, thus no subsequent rinsing or wiping needed. (I wouldn't spray it on the actual food items though -- just on the packaging).In addition, it cleans and disinfects surfaces such as kitchen counters, your grocery bags etc. It cleans well, just give it some time to do its work. The surface needs to get visibly wet and be allowed to dry off.It may not be on the CDC list of approved disinfectants, but it is rated to kill 99.99% of most household bacteria and viruses, including the flu, H1N1 and several others on hard, nonporous surfaces (read the label for details).Unexpected bonus:The bottle this product comes in is the BEST SPRAY BOTTLE ever. Even the bottles of other similar products by 7th Gen don't come with the same type of spray head. Do save the bottle when you're done with it. You can then use it with a refill of another 7th Generation cleaner or any other household product that needs a spray application. (Just make sure the product is safe to use in a plastic bottle).I liked this product so much that started giving it as a 'pandemic-era' gift to other family members, and they appreciate it :)

My daughter prefers “cleaner” type cleaners. More environmentally friendly and better for the health of the family. So I bought it and I do like it. The scent is just ok but it seems to work well on most surfaces.

I switched our household products to cruelty-free and as “clean” as possible, for the sake of our own health and our pets. However, I’m not quite so crunchy that I’m satisfied cleaning everything with vinegar and a hope. This disinfectant is a great middle ground! The scent is pleasant but not too strong, and it does a great job cleaning messy areas. The scent also dissipates quickly.

This is my go to kitchen cleaner because it's safe to use on food surfaces without rinsing. I use this and also the wipes for quick pick up. It does a great job of cleaning grease and sticky messes. If I'm disinfecting a surface, I lightly spray the surface and let it sit wet for 10 minutes. It dries and you don't have to rinse. This has a slightly strong herbal fragrance that I find pleasant. I did notice a comment suggested opening windows when you use it. That's absolutely not necessary unless you just don't like the scent of thyme and lemongrass essential oils or you're allergic.

Got this to fill up a 3.4oz aluminum spray bottle for travel!!! I can take seventh generation with us on the go.

I appreciate that this is safer than the other brands of cleaning sprays but the smell is not pleasant at all. It stinks. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use this.
